If there’s a noose for anyone on the capital, it should be this guy. Lucky for him that’s not they way we do things now that, once again, we are a civilized country.

Shouldnt all schools be closed today?

No. It is decided by states and then by districts.

Not all schools close for Columbus Day, for example.

I suspect that next year, a bunch more schools will be closed for Juneteenth, but that trying to change on the fly for a year already in turmoil would be too much to expect.

So a school could be open on Thanksgiving if it wishes?

Unless their state has a law requiring them to be closed, then yes - but, of course, the chances that their contract with teachers would allow that are diminishingly small. And any school committee that did that would be recalled where possible and replaced where not.

Federal holidays don't require anything to be closed but Federal offices and the like.

Do you foresee black teachers revolting if their schools do not close next June?

Nope.

But if the schools do nothing appropriate to observe the day, I foresee a ton of secondary students revolting, along with faculty of all colors, though not even close to all of them. There are many racist teachers as well as a few who just want to teach w/o having to engage in serious discourse.

See also the state(s) trying to outlaw teaching about racism, not merely excluding CRT or the 1619 project.

Apparently the VA is not considered infrastructure to the present adm. . One dentist for a dozen vets! The new head of the VA was brought in to do a hatchet job. Expect an uncovered scandal soon.

There are 61 dentists per 100,000 residents in the United States.

1 dentist for 12 vets is a major luxury.

More trump residue scumbag scandals are being uncovered as we speak. I’m sure some crooked republican looters raided the VA and made off with loot Congress appropriated to our veterans, how ever ungrateful some of those individuals may be.

One dentist for twelve waiting patients on one clinic morning. Last scandal was about Vets dying waiting while books were cooked to show there was no waiting list.

The VA scandal of 2014, explained

Anchor babies and rusted bridges over vets is a disgrace.

Anchor babies and rusted bridges over vets is a disgrace.

Ignoring your racist language, babies vs. vets is a made up contest.

And no, rusted bridges over dentists for vets is anything but a disgrace, while also a made up contest.

DENTISTS ARE NOT INFRASTRUCTURE!

But also, how many dead civilians are you prepared to sacrifice for each new dentist, since this version of the game is yours?!

How many billions of dollars from the economy? How much time from those civilians, when their bridges break, as happened pretty recently and has happened repeatedly?

However... under the much maligned (and justly so) Trump administration, Congress passed a joint resolution to create a pilot program to improve vets access to dental care:
https://www.congress.gov/116/plaws/publ120/PLAW-116publ120.pdf

It's been close on a year and a half since then. You might go check to see what is happening with the pilot program, Luee.

And you're welcome.

Anchor babies is racist? Is "illegal aliens" racist? Anyone opposed to open borders is racist? I already know what has happened to pro-vet reform legislation. It was put on the back burner. If you are going into a much needed tax and spend mode why cut from the vets, progressive?

Luee is racist. Anchor babies are the engine of the economy. They’ve already replaced you in the active duty ranks.

Adapt to the century you’ve already spent two decades in, for Christ’s sake, like the vast majority of your veteran brethren already have.
