If you have a commune in Nevada, then you are going to want running hot springs.

And the people of Battle Mountain can help to feed the people of San Francisco.

The people who want to go to college can go to Elko, Nevada.

And we can bring in architects from Greece, and from Spain.

Salute,

https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/coronavirus/covid-19-substantially-increases-diabetes-risk-in-kids-cdc-says/3485073/

A study indicates that children diagnosed with COVID-19 are 166% more likely to subsequently be diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.

This is pre-Omicron data. We don't know what the ramifications of that will be.

Also, while some of those kids were pre-diabetic, that doesn't begin to account for all of them.

Justice Sotomayor today, apparently ready to defend Biden Vaccine mandates, stated there are 100,000 children hospitalized MANY on ventilators from Covid !

I was opposed to SCOTUS term limits. Not any more. The term for Sotomayor should end tonight.

Any chance you factchecked the "many"?  Kind of a vague word.  Anyway, way to ignore her main point there.
She has no point.

You have a point and it is right on top of your head.

Stats are tricky.  Students with dietary and lifestyle indicators for later metabolic syndrome could be considerably more liable to get covid.  Recall that minorities, where various living conditions lead to much higher infection rates, also have much higher rates of metabolic illnesses like type II diabetes.  So it could simply be a correlation, or there could also be a causative factor where covid does affect pancreatic regulation, food cravings, stress levels (cortisol production), and so on.   Much more data is needed to promote correlation to causation.

The way to separate out effects is to analyze particular cohorts based on neighborhood, income, ancestry, and ethnicity.

More evidence the liberal SCOTUS Justices are not following the Science of Covid.
As the legality of the  Biden Vaccine Mandates were being argued Justice Elena Kagan said
more people are getting sick every day, and the key to stopping all of this there is nothing else that will perform that function better than the vaccine mandate.

Wrong.
Vaccinated people are getting Covid just as the unvaccinated are.
And we do have drugs that cut COVID deaths to zero.
I hope she votes the law as it is written and not her version of science that does not exist.

Since severity does not seem to be a factor you can comprehend, cut your whole arm off if you ever want a hope of being considered an American again instead of the noxious stateless terrorist you are now.

Learning channels on television can help to teach the children, and learning games, and children are taking on-line classes, but we need to get the children back in school. And especially for the children of immigrants, we have about thirty percent of our people who are immigrants in California, the corona crisis has been especially hard on the children of immigrants when it comes to education.

And educated parents can home-school their children, but for the poor children of uneducated immigrants it is hard.

We need for everyone to get their shots, and we need to open back up. When I was a kid I had to have shots to go to school, it can be the same way now.

And there are a lot of people who would love to be school teachers, if the teachers do not want to teach then we can hire new teachers who do want to teach. We have a lot of educated people who cannot find a job, we can make them school teachers and forgive their student debt if they become school teachers, they can get free college if they want to be a school teacher. Young college graduates are also good for running day-care for kids.

We have great colleges which are doing a fantastic job, and the college graduates can help to teach the rest of society, as school teachers, and as writers, and as producers, etc. And certainly having college educated parents will benefit the children, children are lucky if they have educated parents. We need to continue to support our colleges, and expand and build new colleges.

Salute,

There are people who feel alone and useless who are qualified to help society and who can become useful but they just do not know it.

College graduates make great teachers, and writers, and producers, etc. And educated people make good restaurant managers, etc. Young college graduates are also good for running day-care services for kids.

Homeless Veterans are great at helping the homeless people, and at running homeless shelters, and homeless Veterans are great at helping other homeless Veterans. Veterans are also good with dogs, and are good at running dog kennels, and are great at working for animal shelters, etc. Veterans also make good dog groomers. And Veterans can train police dogs, and bomb dogs, etc. There are many things that the homeless Veterans can do after they have received help and treatment. And they can help to run Wellness Centers, and Mental Health Associations, etc.

We need to help the people who feel useless to become useful and to be a good part of society. And in doing so we can become a better society.

Salute,
