Disney is going to pay a minimum wage of $15 per hour for workers, but we need to also train the youth of our communities for the good executive and  writing jobs with Disney which pay a lot more than minimum wage. We need for Disney to be a dream factory in our neighborhoods, instead of gangs and drugs and crime and prison. Send the youth to film school, etc, and give the youth Leadership Training. Etc. Invest in our youth so that they do not end up in prison.

Salute,

Tony V.

The federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour has not changed since 2009. Increasing it would raise the earnings and family income of most low-wage workers, lifting some families out of poverty, but it would cause other low-wage workers to become jobless, and their family income would fall.

CBO April, 2021

This is not debatable.
In reality the minimum wage needs no interference by Governments.
It should be zero and its rise set by Market forces.

Respecting that that is how you rate the worth of your lifetimes work, at zero, I have to disagree with your application of your self assessment to policy.

The minimum wage must be raised and indexed to the price of goods and services.

Putin is scaring the world further out of its reliance on fossil fuels.

Investment leads to innovation which leads to better products at lower costs.

Some humans may live despite wards fervent wishes.

May neither ward or Putin be among them.

Of course it's debatable.  Anything predicated on what might happen is debatable.

There are more jobs than there are job-seekers.
https://numbernomics.com/unemployment-vs-job-openings-2/

The notion that the federal minimum wage should not be changed is seriously broken.

Further, also from the CBO:
Quote
Employment would be reduced by 1.4 million workers, or 0.9 percent, according to CBO's
average estimate; and
The number of people in poverty would be reduced by 0.9 million.

I think the trade-off is worth it, even if the CBO is right about reduced employment, given the impact on poverty.

Given that Ward is in favor of having more people in poverty, I can understand his position.

We already know that governments raising minimum wages throw poorer people out of work.
Not debatable.

Alito's understanding of abortion in US history is also mistaken.

So much wrong with his draft opinion.
