"in future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court's substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell."

I would like to thank Justice Thomas for pointing out that the claims that these issues would never come under attack were asinine, stupid, and likely out and out duplicitous. They were, most kindly, naive.

"Clueless" would be anyone who thinks the current radical activist Court will respect stare decisis on any culture war issue, no matter how it polls. Dems should plaster the suburbs with the Thomas concurrence and the Texas Repo platform between now and November.

You are the one who has essentially argued gay marriage is safe because of its polling, not me. I have pointed put since the leak that overturning Roe puts gay marriage and contraceptive access at risk.

Mifepristone access will be hard fought.  Glad the FDA approved it, taking away one legal lever from the elders of Gilead.

Sympathy for New Mexico, floating in the middle of a sea of theocratic red.  Hope they can get federal assistance with the massive influx of women from adjacent states seeking reproductive choice.

Yep, Ginni Thomas's ball carrier (pun absolutely intended) has now said the quiet part out loud.  This is a radical RW court, there is no longer the slightest ambiguity about it.

I would rather live in Mexico than Canada, and my Grandmother opened Gold mines in Mexico and she loved it, Mexico is nice if you are rich and powerful.

And here in the USA, for the last 30 years I have been watching the jobs leave California, and I watched neighborhoods that were once nice turn into ghettos, I watched all of the nice malls in San Bernardino disappear, I watched Van Nuys lose the General Motors plant, I watched jobs go to China and to other places, and I watched the desert go from being a resort to being a ghetto.

I want to have a nice state, with jobs and housing for our people, and with good civilized, educated people.

Fighting among ourselves about guns and abortion is not helping our nation on the issue of jobs and homelessness and education.

Salute,

The federalist society is the most effective and committed anti-American terrorist organization operating in the world today.

Search and seize

Church and state

Firearms

Abortion

And the come for voting every cycle, win or lose.

DHS exists to fuck the federalist society out of existence.

It is going to be a long season. There is a lot to do in terms of kicking republicans, destroying their infrastructure, and silencing their leaders.

It is gonna be a long hot of summer...

Republican SCOTUS nominees lie through their teeth! during confirmation and GOP Senators are also lying sons of bitches who make up shit to suit their purposes.

I remember Red extolling the virtues and certainties of the non -existent Biden Rule and then applauding Moscow Mitch trashed that so called rule in nominating ACB.

Hypocrisy is the conservative

I am lucky, I can cook, I was trained by a chef from Beverly Hills, I cooked at a casino in Nevada for 2 years, so I can always survive no matter where I am, I can go to a resort such as Acapulco and get a job as a cook at a restaurant. Then, as a cook I can marry a waitress, and we could start our own restaurant. I could have a good life in Mexico, even as a poor man.

I see what he did there.  National polling is decisive, even though legislatures are state level.  A deeply deceptive argument.  The majority he sees as protecting Obergefell does not exist in at least three states.  ETA - Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas.  (what is it about humidity?) A few others have narrow pluralities, wonder how long those would hold up, especially where districting and poll access issues adversely affect legislative parity with voter preferences.

One of my cousins was stabbed in Palm Springs, California, which really sucks because it used to be a great area. The area has really gone down hill. He was out for a Midnight walk when he approached a domestic violence situation, when he intervened then he was stabbed in the stomach twice.

The desert nights are magical, and that is when the people in Palm Springs come out to party in the summer. They stay by the swimming pools and air conditioners during the heat of the day and then they come out to party at night. Guys like Frank Sinatra used to party at night in Palm Springs.

Civilization seems to be crumbling instead of improving, you would think that we would learn and evolve over time and that we would become better people. And as the jobs left people might be content with libraries and gardens like in Greece, and they might evolve to higher level enterprises like the Greeks. But, instead people are becoming violent and less educated.

We need to raise better children, and we need for society to evolve to stand upon the shoulders of past generations and become better educated and more civilized, etc. And we should become wealthier, it is silly to go from extreme wealth to poverty, the USA used to be rich, the old timers need to teach the kids, and people need to become more civilized.

And hard work needs to pay, people need to be able to join labor unions, etc, and we need to have prevailing wages, etc, so that people are rewarded for their hard labor. People are living in their cars while working 40 hours per week and that sucks. In N Out Burger in California pays their managers $120,000 per year and that needs to be the new going pay for managers for other companies. People need to be able to buy homes and raise families. The wages need to rise, you should not work like a slave while living in your car. And we need hostels where people can take a shower and where they can sleep in a bed for $15 per night. We need fair pay and fair housing.

Anyhow, a lot of people in Palm Springs are upset about the rise in crime. We need for society to evolve to be a better place, not a worse place. Palm Springs was great back when Frank Sinatra lived there.

Salute,

Tony V.
