So who will be serving out Biden's term in the Obama White House?

Let's hear some candidates.

Stoppppp...

Was the 2020 election legit yes or no?

The vote totals?  Absolutely not.
On what factual basis? Since all of the results have independently been checked and audited.

Heh.

Contrary to lying Ward, the GOP plans to gun for Obergefell:

Nothing like Josh being stupid.
What else is new?

You really hate being wrong.

It's quite something.
Red knows he is wrong, but he also knows it is a bad election issue for the Repos so he continues to deny it. Marriage equity is popular outside of the Republican activist base, but that base is all that matters in a highly gerrymandered set of districts. And the idea that the six right wing activist judges are going to respect a recent ruling they disagree with is laughable.

Wrong about what?
Cruz is against same sex marriage. So what? He has no authority to change a policy now well established and popular with Americans. Same sex marriage is not a protected right in the Constitution. What we learned from the Dobbs decision on Abortion is that the Congress has no Constitutional power to regulate it.
Justice Alito in the majority opinion
There is no explicit or implicit right to abortion in the Constitution. Abortion is not within the category of rights that have been held to be guaranteed in their substance by the Due Process Clause.

Clarence Thomas( as well as Cruz, John Roberts, and the late Antonin Scalia),  simply argues that the Court overstepped its authority in deciding the Abortion Cases.
Thomas wrote separately in Dobbs to reiterate two positions he has long held: (1)There are no substantive, unenumerated rights protected by the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment; and 2) the Supreme Court should reconsider and overturn any prior constitutional decision that is demonstrably erroneous.
Remember he was in the majority on Abortion and feels other decisions on marriage and contraception should have been decided the same way and they need to be corrected

His colleagues on the Court are not interested in going even that far.

There is no chance of any challenge to those precedents anyway.

We need to feed the creepy misjustices you mentioned into a wood chipper to restore and maintain our inalienable rights. It is a very very small price to pay and 60 percent of Americans are willing to fire up that big machine today.

To be fair we can leave Scalia in whatever dumpster he had been stuffed into. He has not issued many terrible decisions this year.

There seem to be two especially popular ways of building a stance on gun control, one is based on emotion and the hope that someone responsible with a gun is always on hand and can save the day, the other based on statistics which show most gun deaths result from turning them on family members, acquaintances or oneself.  Since these two positions appeal to two distinct ways of seeing guns, they talk past each other.  The emotional view likes anecdotes that inspire - and there's no doubt they do inspire.  Millions of people FEEL safer, based on those anecdotal bits.  The more scientific view is based on probabilities, and requires a certain emotional distance from appeals to fear, appeals to American myth and legend, appeals to ego ("I'm a strong brave protector.") and the flashy anecdote which may represent less than one percent of all gun usage.

So discussion between those two modes of looking at the world seems to me destined to fail.  The emotional view has no interest in comparatives like how does the number of Good Samaritan uses of a gun compare to the number of uses where a shooter is not impeded from killing family members, acquaintances, random strangers, or themselves?  And the scientific view is not moved by appeals to emotion and a handful of anecdote.

A statistical view and an emotion based view are essentially incompatible, and speak different languages.  So I'm done with the  topic.  Enjoy your murder sticks, and try not to shoot yourself or your wife or let the kids get their hands on them.

Taking away ONE's ability to feel safe because someone ELSE may act irresponsibly is absurd.

Feel how you want. Your ability to easily do murder must be taken away.

Whoever has died, the correct call is to shutter the manufacturer.
