One Year Ago Today

Outside economists were warning  that high prices were a sign of coming high inflation. But that is not our view, President Biden said.
He had consulted with HIS  economists, and they had reviewed THEIR charts, and Biden waved away the alarm bells.
Our experts believe and the data shows that most of the price increases we have  seen were expected and expected to be temporary and at an annualized rate of 5.4 percent.

One Year Later inflation is at 9.1 per cent and still going up.

Kipplinger disagrees with you:
Quote
The inflation rate is likely to stay close to 9% the rest of the year, then decline gradually after that, ending 2023 at about 3%. Rent increases alone will keep inflation rates elevated for some time to come. Energy costs are beginning to ease as commodity traders start to expect a recession to occur next year.

I can only imagine what the US ought to be paying to those it hurt with our involuntary schools.

Hardly lets Biden off the hook with voters.  In fact it makes him look worse.

There will be hundreds of dead, churchy, prominent, lilly white mothers to be by the end of summer. Their families will be spitting mad when republican policies force denial of care that leads directly to the deaths of these many American women.

Republican gun crime and general corruption may be a bigger story for a while, but the way republicans are attacking doctors, hospitals, and families in their war on women will be the main story by the fall.

Today, salmon is 11.99 a pound and Kid is still trying to deny all those murders he is accessory to.

In Florida a lady fell into a pond on a golf course...she was attacked and killed by an alligator.
Yes, this is what happens when alligators are deemed more sacred than humans, and shooting them dead is banned....a felony actually.
Poor lady and her family.
Should be a gator eradication program to save human lives.
Joe should make it happen.

Humans should save human lives by staying out of the alligators house...

Sea lions as well, if you have seen the video

It has next to nothing to do with Biden.

You are all about "looks," and it is not about looks. It is about human suffering and you just don't get it.

No.

There was more than one death that day caused by the insurrection.

And the one you are talking about wasn't murdered, despite how your lawless GOP attitude wants to put it.

Quote
"In a study published this month in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, doctors at two Texas hospitals cited the cases of 28 women less than 23 weeks pregnant who were treated for dangerous pregnancies. The doctors noted that all of the women had recommended abortions delayed by nine days because fetal heart activity was detected. Of those, nearly 60% developed severe complications -- nearly double the number of complications experienced by patients in other states who had immediate therapeutic abortions. Of eight live births among the Texas cases, seven died within hours. The eighth, born at 24 weeks, had severe complications including brain bleeding, a heart defect, lung disease and intestinal and liver problems.

The NY DA finally drops murder charges against a Bodega owner who stabbed to death a man trying to kill him three weeks ago.

Video of the stabbing was available immediately, later from several different angles. (July 1)
The store owner was whisked off to Rikers Island despite having suffered ugly knife wounds and booked under a half million dollar bail.

In the intervening days when everyone who saw the video( Thanks to the New York Post and Fox News) knew the poor man in jail was wrongly accused. Where was NY Congress person AOC, NY Senator Chuck Schumer, the New York Times, or any other democrat from NYC?
Where was GO FUND ME ?(bail was subsequently reduced by a judge who has a brain)
Instead it took weeks for Bodega Owners and regular New Yorker  to raise awareness to the blatant  racism against the poor white Bodega owner.

Pretty sad.

The USC House passed a bill that would provide protection for same-sex and interracial marriage under federal law.
The Respect for Marriage Act vote was 267-157. Democratic lawmakers say the recent Supreme Court ruling ending abortion rights could endanger other rights not enumerated in the Constitution but that the court has recognized in recent decades. The Democrats are seen as the underdogs in November midterm elections in the House, and they have been rolling out a series of votes related to hot button social issues.

The legislation is pointless except for scoring political points
Noteworthy though is the line

Democratic lawmakers say the recent Supreme Court ruling ending abortion rights could endanger other rights not enumerated in the Constitution but that the court has recognized in recent decades.

You wonder if any democrat actually has read the Constitution or any of Clarence Thomas opinions on that very subject.
Of course not.
