Fivethirtyeight.com has it slightly rosier for Democrats, seeing it as Dems needing to win ELEVEN of their THIRTEEN tossups.

Biden has verbal problems, not exactly news.   I would think "barely up an inch" referred to the most recent month compared to the month previous.  Joe doesn't clarify comments well.  And then comically partisan hacks jump on that, rather than engage with the core issues of how to handle global economic spasms.

He goes to Michigan and lectures  people whose median income is $36,842 that they ought to buy an electric car to save money while tooling around in a $62,900 Cadillac Lyriq EV. A car that costs more than a three bedroom home in Detroit.
Then he travels to Delaware to vote in his home state primary, using Air Force One and a motorcade to vote in person rather than casting an absentee ballot.  (Obama and Trump voted absentee while in office)
 It costs over $2,500 per minute to transport a sitting U.S. president.
Then he thumbs his nose at World leaders at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth by transporting his 10 ton limo across the pond for his grandiose motorcade while the rest of the leaders used a communal bus.

The man is a complete tone-death egomaniac totally immersed in style over substance.
