I think it's been clear, going back to Will Rogers astute comments, that the Democrats have not always been masters of strategy.
I think the classic Left, the folks who care about worker exploitation and discrimination, about quality healthcare and childcare and safe working conditions and clean air and water, all the places on the political landscape where positive change can keep happening and we could start to catch up with other developed countries, should split off and form its own party. Everyone else seems to be engaged in quiet acquiescence to plutocracy. The Gilded Age (no. 2) has given way to the Age of Acquiescence.
The Age of Greed has reached its logical conclusion: Everyone for themselves!
Conclusion Hell. That was the starting point.
Times used to be different, Americans used to help each other, my Grandfather came from Arkansas to California during the Great Depression and he worked hard and became affluent, then he used his money to send other family members to college, he sent my Mother's Cousin to college to become a Pharmacist and he is wealthy now with his own pharmacy in Fontana, California. But, then my Grandfather died, so my Grandfather was not alive to send me to college. And my Father died when I was 9 years old, so my father could not send me to college. If my Grandfather and my Father would have lived then I would have had a whole different life, and I would have had help, and I would have had a family. But, I ended up homeless on the streets for 2 years, and no one in my family cared. It sucks to be poor and alone in the world, and Americans used to help each other, but not any more. We are all on our own now, at least in my family. And they just tell me that I am an adult and I have my own self to blame for my poverty.
The Mexicans still help each other, they come to California and they work hard and they send money home to Mexico to help their poor families in Mexico. They feel love and obligation for their families back home in Mexico, and instead of enjoying the fruits of their labor they send money home to Mexico. They live very humble while they work hard and while they send money home to their poor families in Mexico.
And the same with my maid from El Salvador, she sent money home to El Salvador to help her poor family in El Salvador.
But White people today in America are all on their own. It is sad.
And I love how the Italians have big loving families, I would love to marry a beautiful Italian wife and have a big Italian family.
It is imperative that we help our poor and our homeless, because people are selfish and no one cares about the homeless in America, everyone is looking out for themselves and no one cares about the homeless.
We cannot just let the poor people in Kentucky suffer in poverty as the coal jobs leave, we need to send them schools, libraries, food, and supplies, while they get educated and trained for the world of the future. We must let the people of Kentucky know that we care and we must send help for them. We can send them food from California, and supplies from Mexico, etc.
Salute,
