It was explained to me on Sky News tv tonite that Chinese President Xi is the most powerful man (or 'person' in the today-speak) in the world.
Also explained was how he is Russia's best friend who is getting oil and gas from Russia dirt cheap.
How he won't allow Russia to lose in Ukraine, and will make sure Russia keeps all Ukrainian territory it has captured.

Xi-China's idea of a ceasefire is for Russia to keep all the parts of Ukraine it has already captured.
That'd be like America giving the invading China gang California, AZ, NM, TX and the rest of the coastal states up to the Canadian border in return for a ceasefire.
