This article is unusual in the amount of scientific details it provides (rather long, but a fascinating look at how supercomputer simulations are conducted). The uncertainty about stratocumulus formation and breakup is an area ripe for study, and powerfully impacts climate change models.  I take it to mean two things:

1.  We can't assume a gentle rise of two Celsius and take our time, there is a cloud effect that could make it happen faster.

2.  This ugly 5-8 degree scenario is far more likely if we keep on with a heavy fossil fuel economy for the rest of the century.  And it would kill billions.  In the tropics, where billions now live, there would be arid wasteland, and even the most avid humanitarian nations can't take on billions in a rapid change crisis.

https://www.stripes.com/news/veterans/last-ditch-effort-to-pass-blue-water-navy-bill-fails-in-senate-1.560126

The House passed this bill 382-0.

The Senate could not pass it. Why? The $5.5 million would increase the deficit, they "explained."

They = the GOP.

"pro-life?"
"pro-military?"

"Support our troops?"

Amoral hypocrites.

There are real emergencies.

Josh, you might find this interesting

http://www.quantamagazine.org/cloud-loss-could-add-8-degrees-to-global-warming-20190225/

Interesting is one word for it.

Horrifying is another.

Fortunately, we are okay, because Bambi's talkshow host knows more than scientists and calculates better than a supercomputer.

In Sydney Harbour...lovely place[where whales sometimes frolic]...we have a sea level measuring stick.
The sea level has risen...a bit less than 1/2 inch in the last 100 years.
Yes, the seas are rising...but not at any alarming rate.

Warming?
Wait til the next ice age or mini ice age gets here [it's reportedly on the way], won't be able to grow any food then.

My no 1 radio host;

"97% of CO2 in the atmosphere occurs naturally.
CO2 is tree and plant food, without it they would all die."

When the tide goes out, where does it go to? where does it come back from?
This could have something to do with supposed sinking islands.
How do we know it doesn't?  Might be nothing to do with CO2 at all.

Scientists, the global warming/climate change brigade, in 2005 when Sydney's dam was fast becoming empty told us; it's "global warming" "climate change", "we're doomed" "it will never rain again", "our only hope is to build desalination plants everywhere to keep us alive"!

2 years later the dam was full and overflowing...Sydney was awash with water again.....normal "droughts and flooding rains".

You got cites for those quotes or is that what your Number 1 radio host told you?  Because, unlike your number 1 radio host, scientists don't mistake weather for climate.

The Leftist govt's man told us;

https://www.climatecouncil.org.au/author/tim-flannery/

Professor Tim Flannery is one of Australia’s leading writers on climate change. An internationally acclaimed scientist, explorer and conservationist, Professor Flannery was named Australian of the Year in 2007.

https://climatism.blog/2018/03/12/tim-flannery-professor-of-dud-predictions-and-climate-falsehoods/

So even the rain that falls isn’t actually going to fill our dams and our river systems,

In 2008 he warned again that:
“The water problem is so severe for Adelaide that it may run out of water by early 2009.”

AND then the rains came, as they always do in the land of “droughts and flooding rains“…

BY December 2008 Adelaide’s reservoirs were 75% full, Perth’s 40%, Sydney’s 63%, and Brisbane’s reservoir’s were 46% full.
BY 2009 dams for Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney were filled to overflowing.

So why don't you focus on the actual quotes of Flannery, as  you just did, rather than on made up quotes brought to you by your Number 1 radio host?

Not buying that until the Number 1 radio host weighs in.

Right!

This guy from Pennsylvania and the Number 1 radio host need to compare notes and present their findings...

So why don't you focus on the actual quotes of Flannery, as  you just did, rather than on made up quotes brought to you by your Number 1 radio host.

My quotes were basically what he etc said..."poetic licence"...but if you wish me to stick to actual quotes in future then that I shall do.

Back then NSW spent $2 billion building,  and who knows how much per year maintaining, a desalination plant on the strength of his words.
Only now has it been switched on, as the dam level drops again. Might as well use it seeing it's sitting there.
Had the federal/state govt/s implemented my no1 radio host's "Watering Australia" plan back then or anytime since there'd be no need for desalination plants.
More rain falls on Sydney than falls on London...but 'none' of it is harvested.
Every home/building in Sydney should have a water tank/tanks...for starters.
Stormwater pouring into the seas should be captured...and piped inland and to wherever else it's needed.

Not buying that until the Number 1 radio host weighs in.

He spends his life doing research...fact-finding, then translates it into language average Joe can understand.
Only 20% of us attended / 30% do now, university. He attended Oxford. He's the brains, we're the voters.
Gotta love no 1 radio host's program. Like going to university really, but still being able to have a job.
If he hadn't found out that 97% of CO2 in the atmosphere occurs naturally and told us, we would never have known...and we could've been hoodwinked into believing otherwise.
