The link leading to it asked, "Why is Australia so racist?"

Mrs bambu-wisdom explained it to me...and I now agree that the cartoon is racist.

Kudos to Mrs bambu.

Ah yes, 'Australia is racist'.
LOL
That's why if I walk thru the streets of Sydney I could be forgiven for thinking I'm in "Shanghai-Mumbai" I suppose.

And, why 'Africans' are rampaging thru Melbourne violently invading homes and bashing innocent residents, violently invading and robbing stores etc, bashing and robbing people in street etc, with what almost seems like impunity.

Not quite.

Your response to it illustrates one of the ways in which Australia is racist. You did a good job on that!

I presume you don't understand why your words are racist. You could ask Mrs. bambu, but I don't know that even she could explain it to you.

Feminists using bullying accusations as power play

SERENA Williams and her army of feminist enablers can play the gender card as hard as they like, but everyone else who watched her behaviour at the US Open Final knew exactly what they were seeing.

A bully. A shrieking, shouting, emotionally incontinent bully wagging her finger at the umpire, eliciting boos and jeers from the mob, abusing her position as the most powerful women in tennis.

And all because she was losing the game. She was down 6-2 in the first set against a younger, faster female opponent, Japan’s Naomi Osaka, 20, and lost the second set 6-4.

Serena, 36, accused umpire Carlos Ramos of “stealing” from her when he penalised her because her coach was coaching from the sidelines, which he admitted, because she smashed her racquet on the ground and because she abused him.

“I have a daughter,” she wailed. What kind of a role model is a mother who tantrums like a spoiled brat in public?

And what is your point?

Misogynists are upset that their favorite tool can be turned on men by women and not just onwomen by men, not that that accurately describes the incident. It’s a brand new day. There might be some value in getting some ethics and a spine.

It's an opinion piece.

You might as well be quoting a random television show.

They also used to pretend to care about crime.

From WaPo
Quote
"In his first major policy address since joining the White House in April, national security adviser John Bolton offered a particularly aggressive demonstration of President Trump's "America First" agenda. He threatened the International Criminal Court, a U.N.-mandated body based in The Hague, with punitive measures should it pursue an investigation into alleged U.S. war crimes in Afghanistan. He warned that the United States would ban ICC judges and prosecutors from entering the country, sanction their funds in the U.S. financial system and punish any company or government that complies with an ICC investigation into Americans.

In effect, Bolton declared that these officials — including respected jurists and rights activists — could receive the same treatment as certain Kremlin-linked oligarchs or shadowy financiers of extremist groups."

It might be time for someone to withdraw from these proceedings. Nowhere does it say a Supreme Court Justice can’t be prosecuted for tax fraud at least. He’s going to have a fun time trying to hold on to his appellate gig now the facts are coming out. Gambling, in this court? I’m shocked!

Is he lawyer enough to successfully answer all the questions in a timely fashion? He cannot proceed to a committee vote until he does.

Now in a spate of recent polls trump is in mid-thirties approval. He has already lost a third of his support among independents which makes up most of the drop from peak to current levels of support. This decay in approval and support seems to be accelerating. It may be because trump is getting worse, not better, at faking his way through the job he stole over time.

It will be interesting to see who flips on the loser first, Kid, Red, or Bambi.

Interesting perspective from the Head of The Baldwin School...

First, celebrating Williams' 31 Grand Slam final — this one, exactly a year after she gave birth to her first child — reminds kids that healthy competitiveness is an asset and that girls shouldn't stop themselves from being aggressive and ambitious. While boys seem to naturally absorb that idea, it's something that we shy away from encouraging in young women — and is one reason why, by age 14, girls stop playing competitive sports twice as often as boys. This despite the fact that embracing one's competitive spirit is critical for career success, particularly at senior leadership levels. Serena Williams is exactly the role model our girls need, showing them that inner competitiveness is a good thing.

Obviously the notion that it was a success is patently absurd and insulting, but what gets me about this quote is his use of the word "unsung."  Because that is what this is about to him...the lack of recognition for the amazing job he thinks he did, after 3,000 Americans die, and much of the island is without power and water for a year.

"Nobody throws paper towels better than I do.  Believe me."

Fucking pathetic asshole.

Double fist pumps for Shanksville and other strange doings by the liar in the White House.
