Will the Supreme Court grant trump work release to attend the republican national convention?

Just a reminder, trump was already killing the economy before this latest crisis,

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/list-trumps-43-virus-moves-aims-for-south-koreas-99-3-recovery-rate

It's a lovely notion.

Really. Lovely.

We'd need to get 12685 more cases with 0 more deaths.

Currently we have 155 deaths. We have 108 recoveries!

Goals are nice. Pie in the sky goals are... not comforting. I would like us to start with something reasonable like "we would like to reduce the new cases per day by 50% in the next two weeks."

We need to get our new cases down below 2% per day - we need to get Texas and  Nevada's new case percentage down, in particular. Then we can talk about the recovery rate, maybe. Otherwise the ration of deaths to recoveries has a good chance of continuing to be greater than 1.

If you have children in your life, I hope that you will take this time to teach them how to cook, and how to change the oil in the car, and maybe how to do a brake-job, and other things.

And you can teach the children how to fish, and fish will keep you alive, you can make fish tacos, and fish soup, etc. The children can fish and they can feed the old people.

Here is a link for my local lake, it is a really nice lake. It is perfect to take the kids to, and the best bait is hot dogs.

And we need to be able to get seafood from the Pacific Ocean in an emergency, and from other sources. We can make healthy Thai seafood soup, etc.

Fishing is nice, and it also teaches the children how to catch food.

And right now in places like Louisiana, they are depending on seafood. Here in California too.

Salute,

Tony V.

Fishing is murder.  Horrible to watch them suffocate in the air they are unable to breathe.

Many of the anti-virals being tested on CoVid have been used for cancer and other diseases, so have safety records.  For those, it's more the effective part.  So far, the promising ones seem to be helpful for patients with low viral loads and not very sick.  Those in bad shape from the virus haven't responded much, which is not surprising.  At least that's what I've read in early reports out of Japan.

Wow - this stuff is too funny.

Fox News cites the WHO as stating that the virus cannot be spread by human to human contact - this in mid January

MSNBC's Mika Brezhinski (you can't make this up) states the same morning that the United States should have started producing more face masks in early December when we knew this virus was coming our way.

"We are much closer to Italy than we are to South Korea when it comes to a response to this (virus)"

- Steve Ratner

Well...

Italy didnt close its border to Chinese travel as quickly as we did -likely standing back and criticizing Trump when he did so.  True?

What did we do similarly to Italy?

A Trump falsehood on the WHO tests:

An interesting window into Trump's mind.   His reaching for the easily exposed lie that it's "a bad test" is a reflection of his general primitive xenophobic position that anything foreign is in some way inferior.   And what could be worse than a consortium of foreigners: a United Nations organization!   And don't get me started on  NATO or the EU!
