This court ruling may by itself change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

https://lawandcrime.com/2020-election/federal-court-tosses-floridas-poll-tax-formerly-incarcerated-people-can-vote-in-2020/?fbclid=IwAR3VaNdWBlb42tN5D_xponVa8bRTlbnFHkDws9UXuusF7ql_d-rRvbz2vaw

Woo-hoo!   Whether or not this changes an election,  it's a great moment for democracy.

So if Biden just flips Florida he wins, right?

Wait. No?

No, but if he flips Florida and any one of the 3  from PA, MI, or WI then he wins.

I'd rather talk about the election for a day (day off from virus) but some interesting new (model) numbers

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/30/health/coronavirus-lower-death-rate/index.html

0.66% death rate - or one in 150 - is not so bad (current numbers running between 1 in 60 and 1 in 70 from reported positives)

7.8% - 1 in 13 infected - if over 80 years old - even is not so bad

Miniscule rate for children under 9 is of course the best news.

Election?

If stupid white people don’t get rid of the GOP once and for all it’ll be the end of anyone who isn’t extremely wealthy.

If we keep following asshole conservatives the future is gonna be a mix of the Jetsons and Soylent Green.

Keep talking about “acceptable losses” you fucking moron.

...having held all other states that Hilary won.

Not a given.

22 states/parts of (considering Maine) showed Hilary getting 40% or less of the vote.  So those are pretty well locked up.

For Clinton there were just 14 such (that Trump didnt get over 40%), including DC.

May be more flips in play for the Republicans.

Lives were at stake and Trump fucked up.

You posted this opinion a half dozen times already

So do you agree or disagree?

(I think it's gone beyond opinion and resides securely in fact by now)

OK, gotcha

You will be one of those in the "I never said Biden would win" group.

You don't appear to have "got" me at all.   Let's consider any further chat between us to be pointless.   I will not address your postings further.   Good day.

Sorry.

Doesnt matter

As I have stated - looking forward is more beneficial.

Do you have an opinion on what happened in the administration yesterday or today?

I knew kiid wouldn't answer.
I'll answer for him.
kiid: 'I'm such a Trump apologist that I'd give him a 9 out of 10.'

As for your vague as hell question, I actually have no idea what you are referring to that I should be opining upon ...

Rather pointless/useless being on a discussion board with you ...

Dolly Parton

1 hr ·

My longtime friend Dr. Naji Abumrad, who’s been involved in research at Vanderbilt for many years, informed me that they were making some exciting advancements towards research of the coronavirus for a cure. I am making a donation of $1 million to Vanderbilt towards that research and to encourage people that can afford it to make donations.

Keep the faith,

Dolly

We need for all of the researchers to share information with each other on the world wide web, we need teamwork among the researchers. Globally.

Kid has exhibited for now more than two decades a truly remarkable inability to learn from the past.

Why people expect him to draw rational conclusions now, seems a massive waste of time.

As to what the TA did yesterday is that Trump is now understanding the possibility of being called the greatest manslaughterer in US history (benefit of the doubt) because of his gross imcompetence, in labeling CV a hoax, a political ploy, and no worse than the flu, and it would magically disappear as the case load goes from 15 to 0. He was tragically wrong and incompetent.

He is now fashioning the fiction that if only 100,000 Amercians die he will be the Mother Theresa of all diseases and a savior.

He won't, He will be the new equivalent of Typhoid Donald.

Stay well people and stay at home.

Lets help beat this evil disease by not spreading it, and then let's remove the cancerous tumor in the White House and save our country.

I should make it my tag line so that it'll be in every single one of my posts.

I'm angry about this.
THIS CRISIS HAS BEEN A HUGE NATIONAL EMBARRASSMENT & CATASTROPHE

People have already started dying in my hometown, unnecessarily, due to the immense botching and Trump failures.  Hope my parents survive.

It didn't have to get to temporary hospitals being set up in Central Park.
