Trump bow out is very likely. He’s close to an even larger stroke it seems.

Since Trump got less than half the votes and squeaked through last time.
And his approval ratings are in the mid-40's.
And he mal-administered a huge freaking health emergency resulting in a crashed economy, I'd say there is almost a zero chance of a Trump blowout.  Unless Biden becomes addled and tells people to vote for Trump.

I'd make a Tv ad featuring Trump quotes onscreen praising various dictators (China, Duerte in the Philippines, calling El Sisi his favorite dictator, Orban in Hungary, PUTIN!), then putting up some info about the way they've dictatorially mistreated their citizens**, with some appropriate ugly rights abuse video from that country in the background.  Then at the end, ask the qauetion if we can afford to have a dictator or a president who admires brutal dictators.  Just say NO to Dictatorship.  Vote Biden.

** PRC = millions of Muslims sent to re-rehabilitation camps; Duerte killing gang members; Egypt putting all the old Mubarak generals back in power; Russia I'd probably go with the number of journalists killed, maybe with a visual of the opp leader gunned down in Red Square.

Landslide, electorally

And his approval ratings are in the mid-40's.

Even lower, I think but no matter.

And he mal-administered a huge freaking health emergency resulting in a crashed economy

Actually the economy being so strong to begin is a key part of withstanding this, though Trump's incredible managerial skill and business acumen is at the forefront.

Unless Biden becomes addled .....

The funny thing is there are lots of instances of Trump praising Xi JinPing, including for his transparency during the viral crisis.

Yep

Let the battle begin

They can even dust off some "Trump accosted me" figures to combat the key Biden accuser.

Best news for Trump out of all this is that the courts are mostly frozen, so the various cases making their way through the system(s) are stalled.

He may have a chance to flee the country before he gets arrested and locked up.

Landslide, electorally

Extremely unlikely.
He'll have trouble holding on to MICH, WIS, PA.
While FLA, AZ and OH will be in play as well.

Tell me where Trump gets say another 30 EV's from?

Quote
though Trump's incredible managerial skill and business acumen is at the forefront.

You've had brain trauma the past few years?  Trump has been a chaotic manager, firing people like it was a reality Tv program with a weekly firing quota.  He largely goes by his gut instinct and says things wrong all the time so his subordinates have to backtrack and explain the mistakes.

Trump thoroughly mismanaged the virus from the get-go, the major crisis of his presidency = a compete fail, while accepting no blame.

His trade war with China has been a lose-lose, requiring a huge and ongoing bailout of US farmers.

The economy continued on the trajectory set by the Obama economy.  Even the massive and irresponsible trump tax cuts failed to do much, except saddle us a with an extra $1T in deficit right before a hugely expensive health emergency.  Hope Biden and Dems hammer Trump on that bit of irresponsibility and mismanagement.

Hard to believe Trump will get one vote due to his management skills.  As for business acumen, sure looks like he's on the road to bankrupting the country like he did his businesses repeatedly.

I think there will be a lot of folks who will want a return to normalcy, a competent manager at the helm, a return to no-drama Obama days.

One in which it's unacceptable for the US president to go around praising dictators and strongmen.

Take Trump's own words and make him pay a price for it.

Same thing on your side.
Your saddled with the Biggest Jerk and Worst President and Least presidential candidate ever.

Come the GOP convention late Summer, Trump might be so thoroughly discredited he can't run again.
Who would your replacement be?
Pence?  Romney?  Jared (tee-hee)?  Ivanka?

There is little time for you guys to go with another candidate.

I wish you zero luck in the election.

And for most of us, the decision would be clear from 2019 alone, even without the first two years of debacles.
