Why don't we just have a national referendum to merge Montana, Wyoming, N & S Dakota into one state with a population of about 3.25 million. It would receive  Congresional representation as mandated by population, and have 2 senators. which is still more national representation than the 3.8 million citizens of Puerto Rico has.

And we we could go back to a pre'60s 48-star flag.

Trump blocked FBI HQ  building sale... didn’t want another luxury hotel on PA Ave NW...

http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/politics/bs-md-fbi-headquarters-trump-20181018-story.html

“GSA says the emails were taken out of context.”

Trump owns a downtown hotel across the street from FBI headquarters that could face competition if the FBI's current location is opened to private redevelopment, which could include another hotel. Before running for office, Trump expressed interest in redeveloping the property himself.

Officials in suburban Maryland and Virginia have long competed to be chosen as the site for a potential new FBI headquarters in the Washington D.C. suburbs. Such a project could bring more than 10,000 jobs.

He ran to steal money and avoid prison, not to create jobs.

Nobody who runs as a republican actually creates jobs.

They all live on the mosquito end of the political spectrum as disease spreading blood suckers with a uniquely annoying way of whining all the time.

In addition the Constitution was written so the provision calling for an equal number of Senators per state cannot be changed.

I have twenty seven reasons to think you are bassackwards about this. Weak hope has replaced real analysis from you again.

” The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate. “

It’s not about depriving puny backward dead-weight states that revel in corruption and incest (sound like home, Red?) their equal suffrage. Crackertopia can keep its two senators. For federal election purposes California will just have 16 or 20 senators to balance them out.
A couple of problems. The idea to split California into 6 states never got to the ballot. A desire to split into 3 states looks like it will get a vote. But any state decision to split has to approved by Congress(subject to veto by the President)And even if all that works the net result is the addition of a 4 Senators and 2 electoral votes. I doubt Californians see any reason to change.

I’m only suggesting states split them selves for the purpose of a senate count, not in anyother way.
Can’t be done.

It would begin with a National Amendment to specifically allow and regulate the practice and set a floor on the number of residents in any of these new states.

National Ammendment to what!?

And now it's:

"Making America Date Again"

"Without bias, judgement, or liberal intolerance! With the free Donald Daters app you have the power to quickly find the RIGHT partner near you.

Cool.

What a great oxymoron, built right in, but knowing none of the users will notice it.

Or you, apparently.

The GOP continues its efforts to block legal voters from voting when they are likelier to be voting for Democratic Party candidates:

North Dakota has a budget surplus.

When a party’s electoral strategy depends on fewer people voting it means they know their policies suck for most people.

A better choice than all the Amendment back and fourth is just to take 50-70 million people from the most beleaguered places on earth, expedite their citizenship and settle them in Nebraska, Oklahoma, Indiana, Idaho, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alaska, etc. that should be the final nail in the coffin of the GOP. From Lincoln to nothing, R.I.P.

Quite the contrary. Under that plan the democrats would be shunned.

I'd let natural attrition (old age+) trim the ranks of the old white racist party, the rest will likely leave for Argentina or Germany, And the unfortunate social Republicans will likely die prematurely from either opiate addiction and/or the gutting of healthcare and other social programs.

Then the democrats will fix the mess created by the racist greedy Republican pigs

As they have done repeatedly in the past.
