In addition the Constitution was written so the provision calling for an equal number of Senators per state cannot be changed.

I have twenty seven reasons to think you are bassackwards about this. Weak hope has replaced real analysis from you again.

Hillary lost the Electoral College by losing 6 states that Obama won.  Only one, Iowa, was a small Electoral one. It seems rather obvious that after 2008 the voters have been rejecting democrats.

Again, an interesting conclusion based on the fact that more voters have been casting ballots for Democrats through all that time evenin the face of rump party apparatchiks disenfranchising and suppressing anyone they think is likely to lean Democratic in an election.

Keep thinking your degenerate retrograde movement has a public support or mandate. In reality you are fucking yourself by yourself again.

Now - after the Dem shitshow the last 2 months - quite comfortable about the Senate - now just have to deal again with the dim bulb Pelosi.

” The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate. “

It’s not about depriving puny backward dead-weight states that revel in corruption and incest (sound like home, Red?) their equal suffrage. Crackertopia can keep its two senators. For federal election purposes California will just have 16 or 20 senators to balance them out.

A couple of problems. The idea to split California into 6 states never got to the ballot. A desire to split into 3 states looks like it will get a vote. But any state decision to split has to approved by Congress(subject to veto by the President)And even if all that works the net result is the addition of a 4 Senators and 2 electoral votes. I doubt Californians see any reason to change.

I’m only suggesting states split them selves for the purpose of a senate count, not in anyother way. It would begin with a National Amendment to specifically allow and regulate the practice and set a floor on the number of residents in any of these new states. It would not effect the internal workings of states that chose to divide, only increase the number of Senators sent to Washington bringing the representation more in line with the population and less locked into the confederacy.

It’s nothing like the bullshit proposal on the ballot in California.
