Trump’s approval with black voters rose nine points during the Republican National Convention, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll conducted August 22-25.
Twenty-four percent of registered black voters, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove.
That is up 9 points from the previous survey conducted Aug. 8-11, where the President received 15 percent support among this group.
An interesting quote from MLK, but more on that later, if I'm so inclined. Even the Devil can quote scripture, after all. Just a matter of figuring out who the devil we're talking about. You still don't care about Blacks except for what you can get from them. No change.
As for the Hill-HarrisX poll, at the same time that they reported that change, they also had the president's overall approval drop from -10 to -12.
But for example, "Twenty-four percent of registered black voters in the Aug. 22-25 survey, which included the first two days of the convention, said they approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 76 percent said they disapprove." I wonder what they think once they got past Tim Scott and into the last two days!
Meanwhile, "Eighty-seven percent of Democratic voters disapprove of Trump along with 64 percent of independent voters.
"The survey found the president remains underwater with suburban voters and urban voters, at 42 percent support each."
But we should always examine what Ward says carefully, because, per a different Hill-HarrisX poll, "
The poll found Republican voters to be more likely than Democratic voters to give stock to the theories and misinformation."
