I think hosting platforms and App Store have a First Amendment right to determine who gets to use their services and to refuse to do business with anyone they want, provided that reason is not illegal. Why do you hate the First Amendment so much?

  Worldwide, there are over 330,000 web hosting providers. GoDaddy holds nearly 20% of the market, followed by Amazon AWS, 1&1, and Hostgator. WordPress is the weapon of choice for most users, with 34% of all websites built on that platform.Nov 12, 2020 

So,  this begs the question:  in what way are your First Amendment rights abridged,  if one of those providers shuts you down for a TOS violation?

Otherwise, I have a friend who is convinced that Parler is an FBI honeypot.

Your friend may have been right. What we have now though is an open source La Brea tar pit where we can all view the bones of the nasty animals who got caught up and are now indelibly captured in the tar. Parler is being treated as evidence in a huge multitude of Federal, State, and Local criminal investigations, along with copious private and academic sleuthing. Every post, every comment, and their entire user database including official IDs is being used to make America great again by making sure that each individual in the nation’s most deranged contingent can never escape or erase the stain and the consequences of their words and actions during the shit show of the coward’s misadministration.

Parler is finally being treated the way it has always deserved to be treated since it’s founding and inception.

The users and owners will get much much more TLC once the content is fully analyzed and linked to meat space behaviors.
