Seems to me that free-labour volunteers in society often get taken advantage of/get taken for granted, to their own detriment.
Yes I know..."they knew what they were signing up for".
My payment, insurance, compensation etc idea for volunteers is the way things should be.
Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be.
