Some idiot once told me that you cannot make money from ideas. What a fool he was. Ideas are where the money is, intellectual property is worth a lot of money. Some of the best people have made their money from intellectual property.
Ben Franklin wrote books, and he invented things, he wrote "Poor Richard's Almanac," and he invented the Ben Franklin stove. He did public service and was a founding father of the USA, he did great things, and he made his money from intellectual property.
A lot of rich and powerful people made their money from intellectual property.
I will make more money from my poetry book, and movie script, than I ever would from manual labor. Although you can make a lot of money from acting, but that is all part of someone's movie script becoming a movie, etc.
You can never be too smart, and reading, learning, and studying, are worthwhile. You can make a lot of money from intellectual property, and also people want educated leaders in government, etc.
Salute,
Tony V.
