All those people who looked past Trump's disloyalty to American interests, gross incompetence, and obviously inappropriate temperament to be President of the United States because they thought he was good for the economy will be looking pretty fucking stupid over the coming months.

I think the Dem nominee shouldn't just run for Prez but also for a Dem Senate.
I thought that was a mistake Hillary made.  She said next to nothing about the Senate until the last 10 days or so of the campaign.  if you want to get elected and get something done, you need a blue Congress.  These aren't really separate issues.
We saw how badly Obama was hamstrung by a GOP Senate.  And how Trump hasn't been able to do anything since the Dems ran riot in the midterms.

And the better the Dem Senate candidates do, the better the top of the ticket, and vice versa.

True

For instance Dems held up the current 8.7 billion dollar COVID-relief bill so they could get good anti-Trump PR going.

Sick.

From Bobby Rush,  US Congressman, on twitter...

In 2012, I wore a hoodie on the House Floor to make a statement about the deadly consequences of racial profiling. On Wednesday, @RepMattGaetz wore a gas mask in the chamber, making light of an epidemic that has killed 14 Americans.

Guess which one of us was forcibly removed.

The package is over $5 Billion more than the White House wanted, and the only people who voted against it were Republicans.

News I read was Trump thought 2.5 billion was plenty.  It was Dems who pushed the higher figure.   Where is your evidence of this alleged hold up for political purposes.

Trump has all but admitted that they are repressing testing in order to keep "the numbers" low but kiidcarter8 thinks its the Democrats who are focused on PR because they wrangled for a few hours to make sure the vaccine is affordable.

Not being here, I almost forgot exactly how stupid some Trump supporters are.

Needs,  good to hear from you.

This weekend an American in Matt Gaetz's district died due to the Corona Virus.

I'm sure his constituents were glad to see how seriously their representative is taking this life-threatening issue.

Those Dems.  Really making the Republicans look bad...

As for whether Gaetz made the right move, he didn’t – wearing a biohazard mask will not help. The CDC has recommended that face masks (the CDC-verified type, rather than Gaetz’s bizarre adaptation) should not be worn by people who do not have the virus – because people who are actually sick need them.

Wearing a mask could also make it easier to get coronavirus. As explained in Forbes last week: “After a while, as the respirator more moist from water droplets in the air and your saliva-laden breath, it loses its ability to properly filter out small particles and microbes

An odd evasion,  seeing as your article supports what Rep. Rush and other news outlets were pointing out.   Gaetz publicly mocked CV concerns and Rush noted the differential treatment that got to his hoodie donning in 2012.   It must be painful to you to watch Republicans being callous and tone-deaf.   Deflection onto Democrats seems to be your defense.

Trying to win the LADT election is the same mistake military strategists make when they plan for the last war.
The GOP is gonna have to spend in the South because it’s no longer safe territory.

Isn't that the same mistake Hillary made?
She was trying to expand the map and win AZ and such and forgot to lock down the midwest base she needed to win, which was Trump's only path to victory.  Dems gotta win VA, PA, MICH.  Then target WI and NC.  After that the trickier OH and FLA.  AZ, GA and TX are not essential if the Dems take care of where they should win.

Dems gotta win VA, PA, MICH, and Wi, Bo! It was losing the latter three, while winning VA, that did them in. Nothing else is required for the presidency, if they keep the rest of their states. VA, CO, and NM are considered likely, so I would not have VA in the same category as PA, MI, and WI. Yes, it needs to be won, but no more than CO or NM, except for its EVs.

Ohio is further down the list than NC, FL, or AZ, but in the same group with GA and IA (and the snippet of ME). TX is in its own category, a further reach than any of the others named, but not as far as the dead solid GOPs. TX is red the way VA and NM are blue.
