Gowdy praised U.S. Attorney General William Barr for expressing interest in supervising whether governors overstep their bounds in their executive actions, saying: "We are really lucky we have a real lawyer as the AG.

"He understands that for government to be able to infringe on a freedom, there has to be a rational basis and sometimes a compelling reason [behind it]," Gowdy added.

"So, if I’m going to tell you, governor, that you can go visit your mom," he said, referring to a now-notorious order by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, "that is a fundamental right that you have."

Yes, CNN

Because you have reported on the drug dishonestly

Liar.

And the VA is in trouble, regardless of whether they are also idiots. They need help and this president is insisting that everything is under control, still and again.

...Gowdy

You complain about dishonesty by CNN, then cite Trey Gowdy?

How desperate to pretend to have a point are you?!

That gowdy is rooting for the soulless slug thug put in charge of the DOJ using his powers to push Americans into the deadly jaws of disease against the orders of their governors and the will of the populace of their states to the benefit of kleptocratic profiteers? That’s typical gowdy crawling on his belly in the dirt. It defines his whole career. That’s why he fled his seat. He hasn’t gotten any better with age. Still a dipshit and a cheap unattractive male prostitute. Trey gowdy will never change.

Rudy G feels competitive with Trump for stupidest comment about the coronavirus.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/24/politics/rudy-giuliani-donald-trump-laura-ingraham-coronavirus/index.html

Trump probably has said a dozen stupider and more harmful things than Rudy's aggressive ignorance.

1) injecting patients with disinfectant, possibly bleach as that kills the virus
2) irradiating people internally with UV light (somehow)
3) it's just person from China, we've got this totally under control
4) and then come April it gets warmer and the virus just magically disappears
5) wasn't there something about we're well-prepared for this virus and it won't be a big problem?
6) anything Trump touted as a game-changer.  Especially unproven drugs.
etc.
With a little research can fill in more Trump idiocies.

Otherwise, I'm also partial to KellyAnn thinking that there were 18 coronaviruses before this, because this was Covid-19.  We got through a dozen and half before, so we'll just ride this one out too...

THE DONALD DAQUIRI

perfect for those lazy, crazy hazy daze of summer that will vaporize the virus

3 parts Clorox

1 part rum

1 part simpleton syrup

garnish with slice of lime

chill, swill and kill the virus

and for those who want another kick, float a shot of isopropyl 70% in there

I understand its the cocktail of the month at Trump hotels and resorts.

Stay healthy folks

Remember when a politician is accused of sexual misconduct the “ woman must be heard “!

Well Tara Reade  says she was molested by Joe Biden years ago. She has been heard.
And ignored.

But now a CNN video tape surfaces damning to Joe Biden.

Which women fall silent?
The National Organization for Women( NOW)
Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Sen. Kamala Harris, all former 2020 hopefuls who have been floated as possible VP picks for Biden.

And others who have been floated as possible running mates:
Rep. Val Demings, D-Fla.,
former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates,
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer,
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H.;
Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H.;
New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham;
Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev.;
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill.;
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz.;
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.;
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms
and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.

And how in the world does the archived CNN tape elude the crackpot journalists at CNN!

“Motorists and the public alike are reminded that while masks should be used in public settings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, they are not necessary outdoors when social distancing can be maintained, and especially not necessary when driving a vehicle with no additional occupants,” the department said in the post.

Red's concerned because sexual assault allegations will likely get Biden some Republican votes.
