Lemon a bigger ass than Hannity or Limbaugh?

You're even more partisan than usual.

Lemon isn't even the biggest ass outside of Fox!

“There is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free,”...,
Obama, as a former Ivy League Law Professor seems not to know that
Flynn never committed perjury nor was he ever charged with perjury.

Lying to the FBI is a separate crime which is rather similar to perjury but not the same (perjury requires an oath; an FBI interview can be conducted under oath).  In shorthand, it's basically the same.

Just as you called Obama a former Ivy League Law Prof, though he wasn't.  But he was a law student at Columbia and a law prof at U of Chicago (the Harvard of the Midwest!).  What you said was wrong, but close enough, not to worry/niggle about.

Between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., the subways and New York’s 472 stations began closing for a nightly cleaning to disinfect trains.  The homeless have borne the brunt of the shutdown. Typically, some 2,000 homeless people rely on trains as a warm place to pass the night.

Sad.
How hard is it take a few empty or condemned buildings and convert them into safe single apartment shelters?  Would be a boon to the homeless and for the public as well.

Michael Flynn made false statements to FBI agents interviewing him about his December 2016 telephone conversation with a Russian diplomat. Flynn had previously traveled to Russia; received payments from Russia-related companies, including more than $40,000 from a Russian state-backed entity; dined with the Russian president; intervened in sanctions levied by the outgoing Obama administration punishing Russia for its 2016 election interference; and then lied to the incoming vice president - among other senior White House officials - about his intervention.

When he repeated similar lies to the FBI during a January 2017 interview, he was charged with a federal crime and subsequently pleaded guilty in federal court.

The FBI knew FLynn lied to the Veep.
And Flynn therefore could be compromised by Russia.

Quote
Were his lies material, as required by the statute to which he pleaded guilty? Absolutely. For those of us who spent a professional lifetime as prosecutors and in the Justice Department, this is not a close call.
lying to the FBI about his conversation with a Russian diplomat, given his financial and other ties to Russia, in the wake of massive Russian interference in our 2016 election, and during an FBI counterintelligence investigation concerning Russia? That is material - plain and simple.

I'm also not sure why it's not a big deal that Trump repeatedly lied about having any business/financial interest in Russia, when his people were negotiating to build the largest skyscraper in Moscow, a project which of course would need support from Putin and his cronies.   And again, the Russians knew Trump was lying and had that over him.  Not to mention the entire tower project would could make Trump lots of money.

Of course this is a big deal.  But Republicans have decided that it is OK for Trump to lie to get elected, and then use the levers of government to enrich himself and his cronies while playing "president" only on TV because taxcuts.  And when they are in charge of one half of the government, it becomes impossible for that branch to play its oversight role.

For those of us who still work for a living  and can't spend sixteen hours a day watching news feeds, it would be helpful if you follow forum's rules and post links or at least your source.   No context, no link..... billion doses of what?   Cracklin Rosie?

The only reason the FBI set Flynn up was to, at the very least, get him fired because the Obama gang knew they could not continue the Collusion Hoax with Flynn as National Security advisor.

- Flynn lied to the Vice President about not discussing retaliatory measures against Russia on the call (according to the Vice President)
- A country calling in to in incoming National Security Advisor in order to secretly discuss sanctions is NOT above board.
- Russia knew the statements being made in public by Spicer and others about those calls were lies, and therefore Russia had leverage over Flynn, which under any normal administration would be enough to disqualify someone from getting a security clearance.
- And while all that was going on, Flynn was an undeclared foreign agent of Turkey, which also disqualifies him from having a security clearance, obviously.

All of those things made Flynn's position in National Security impossible before even getting into the fact that he lied to the FBI, and none of it having anything to do with Obama (lol) This is something Trump himself admitted when his only complaint was that he wasn't told earlier.

But that was before Trump had Barr, and before he needed to line up political show-trials against former Obama Administration officials and to clear the way for more Russian interference in the election.  Their plan to use Ukraine to smear Bidden was revealed, so fuck it, they will do it themselves.  And REDSTATEWARD can hardly wait!

Trump is not a President but he plays one on TV and that is good enough for the poster who thinks the West Wing was real.

Would have to be hotels.

And the government would have to buy them first

But yeah - seems NY is a bit behind on this.  Why are there not enough shelters to begin with?  Or are there just too many homeless that cannot stay in the shelter due to rules (which of course arew for safety of the others)?  What is the answer on a normal day?

But NY has a homeless problem already - and knows - and to a good extent ACCEPTS - what the average homeless person goes through.  Right now - minus cold weather - its shelter from rain that would be the key concern and the look of homeless outside Macys and other etsablishments that is the new reality.
