Anyone staying up to watch the fight tonight?

I say POR protestor goes down in the fifth.

Then ten pop in to take her place in the 6th.

Fascist Barr throws in the towel or the whole dark side gestapo gets DQ’d in the 8th.

Portland Athena & The Great United States win!

All we need is a trump coronary by midnight to make for a very good day indeed.

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jul/21/donald-trump-coronavirus-briefing-covid-19-masks

“Earlier on Tuesday, Biden reiterated his criticism of Trump’s response to the pandemic. ‘His own staff admits that Donald Trump fails the most important test of being the American president: the duty to care – for you, for all of us,’ the former vice-president said in New Castle, Delaware. ‘He has quit on you and he has quit on this country.’”

Exactly

They didnt even ask questions regarding the statement he just made.

They had their questions prepared ahead of time.

The press prepared for the press conference?  Those bastards.

Trump wished Ghislaine Maxwell well...

birds of a feather

yeah, that was weird as hell

Press didnt call him on it - which tells you how into their gotcha questions they were.

They didn’t ask him about the Russian government putting out contracts on our military.

It so doesn't matter

But no - I would not be at all surprised to find out the 85 number was embellished

I said you called the story into question.

You denied having done so.

THAT is what matters, Kid.

Given that you called it into doubt both with the original news and by implication in this set of posts, that there doesn't need to be one doesn't mean you didn't have one.

Your mind is mush

Nothing was called into doubt

Republicans still plan to introduce their proposal this week, and McConnell made clear a sense of urgency remains with millions out of work and the virus still plaguing parts of the country.

"The American jobs market needs another shot of adrenaline," McConnell said.

But as Republicans work through what will end up in the GOP proposal, some senators are already lining up against whatever McConnell introduces.

"At lunch today I asked my Republican colleagues, 'What in the hell are we doing?'" Sen. Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, recounted to CNN after the closed-door lunch. "We'll see where this ends up, we still don't know the details of this initial proposal, but, as it's written right now, I'm not only a no, I'm a hell no."

https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/21/politics/congress-coronavirus-testing-unspent-funds/index.html

Why they are perplexed is beyond me. It really seems obvious. The Trump administration is run by corrupt and often incompetent people. Duh.

Quote
Despite severe shortages in coronavirus testing supplies and lags in results, the Trump administration is still sitting on billions of dollars in unused funding that Congress allocated months ago. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have questions about why the money has not been used as testing continues to fall well short of the national need.

"It's probably a logistical problem as much as anything else, but yeah, it's a concern," said Republican. Sen. John Cornyn of Texas.

As negotiations have ramped up between the White House and Senate Republicans in recent days on whether to include more funding for testing in the next round of stimulus, the White House pushed against more money over the weekend, arguing that billions remain unspent. But lawmakers and aides -- who estimate the remaining amount at about $7 billion to $8 billion -- say they've been unable to get a clear answer to why that money hasn't been touched in the first place.
