Today, if I were younger and single/divorced, I should be able to visit a bar in city or country to socialise and maybe meet someone for a relationship...without being labelled a
"predator".

Depends on how you act.

Don’t roofie your date...

No...according to those accusing and saying it, my very presence there would make me a "predator"...there to prey on women.

It’s a good thing someone clipped you and put you on a very short leash.

I hate pubs and bars.
I'm talking about my rights...what I should be able to do, if I wanted to.

So...you think you're being denied the right to be a sexual predator?

I'm being denied the right to be in a bar alone and be seen as what I would be, not a predator.

Being a single young man in a bar doesn't automatically make you a predator.

The GOP plan prevents you from suing your employer for getting COVID-19.

But it doesn't prevent them from suing you.

But seeing Bambi, at any age, might make them think that he might be a predator, depending on how he looks at them, speaks to them, or behaves toward them.

Even if you don't die from COVID ....
« Reply #45409 on: July 30, 2020, 04:43:31 PM »

Researchers looked at cardiac magnetic resonance imaging  taken nearly two and a half months after they were diagnosed and compared them with images from people who never had COVID-19. The study found heart abnormalities in 78 patients, with 60 of those patients showing signs of inflammation in the heart muscle from the virus.

Wow! Thanks for the link, Kam!

"recovered" is a term that should be used lightly, I imagine, at this point. And "didn't exhibit any symptoms" can no longer be taken to mean "didn't suffer any damage from COVID-19."

So much for the "99% of the people who get it are perfectly fine" argument, huh?

Quote
Two German studies, published Tuesday in the peer-reviewed journal JAMA Cardiology, found heart abnormalities in COVID-19 patients months after they had already recovered from the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2.

The first study included 100 patients from the University of Hospital Frankfurt COVID-19 Registry who were relatively healthy adults in their 40s and 50s. About one-third of the patients required hospitalization, while the rest recovered from home.
...
The findings would have been virtually impossible to pinpoint without this study, as the majority of patients didn't exhibit any symptoms and these specific abnormalities detected by the MRI wouldn't have been seen on an echocardiogram, which is more commonly used in the standard clinical setting.

Yup.  As well as the "it's just a bad case of the flu" argument

Next up:  "Kids can't get it"

After that:  "Kids recover from it with no problem"

Good CNN report on Cain.

"It is not clear where he contracted the virus."

The drool and the tip of his tongue peeking out the corner of his mouth tend to sour one’s initial impression of our dear Bambi.

It’s the early intimation of cannibal rathood that people pick up on.

No, but it is pretty clear that if he got it before the rally, then he was spreading it while he was there!

And still should have been wearing a mask.

Good CNN report on Cain.

"It is not clear where he contracted the virus."

1/3 chance he had it before the OK rally
1/3 chance he contracted it there
1/3 he got it after the rally

So a 66.67% chance he was either a disease vortex at a super spreader event without a mask or a victim of one

Far less than 1/3rd chance he got it after the rally, Kam. 9 days later he was symptomatic.

Speaking of dying going on today, here’s a recent update on the great success of trumpian re-election efforts,

http://m.dailykos.com/stories/2020/7/30/1965207/-Majority-of-voters-eagerly-await-voting-loathsome-Trump-out-of-office

With three months of warning about Covid to prepare, trump engineers the single worst quarter in US economic history needlessly bumping off 100,000 Americans in that span through his bottomless unfitness and incompetence.

He says that nobody likes him.

He’s still his best political advisor.
