You waste way too many words on dimwitted trolls,  Josh.   You will not "explain" anything to them.

What a joke!

President Trump Job Approval   Rasmussen Reports   Approve 50, Disapprove 48   Approve +2

Two days ago, it was 9 percent disapproving. This is so far beyond what even they pretend their margin of error is and so out of left field compared to every other company's finding that it has gone past absurd into farce.

Oh FFS.  Rasmussen's poll method excludes fifty percent of the population.  They are a joke.

Finally a democrat with a plan to adapt sensibly to climate change.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., wants to give struggling coal communities a jolt of new federal investment and help transition out-of-work miners into new jobs and cleaner energy production.

Duckworth, considered a potential running mate for Joe Biden, introduced sweeping new legislation this month that gives Medicare coverage to laid-off coal workers, provides tuition-free college for coal workers and their families, calls for a $15 dollar minimum wage and modifies U.S. bankruptcy rules to require coal companies to pay for worker health care and pensions benefits.

Duckworth's goal is carbon-neutral energy production in America. To help transition to greener energy, Duckworth wants to help existing coal power plants reduce emissions through new technology. Her legislation would subsidize carbon capture capabilities for any coal power plant with at least eight years of operational life left and provide loans for building pipelines to carry the captured carbon to "geologic repositories" found in places like her home state of Illinois.

You're right, that plan based on Hillary Clinton's plan to help transition coal workers into new jobs and cleaner energy industries seems practical and sensible.

And Duckworth also favors the 15 dollar MW, which I know you've staunchly supported here many times!  Yay!

The words do double duty, Can.

I use them as part of write ups for students to critique. I also write up the other sides of these arguments, but don't bother posting them here.

And I borrow some of the key phrases or arguments that Ward, Kid, and Bambi present, as well. The internet is a rich source of exposition, waiting to be mined. Mostly, though the arguments don't matter.

It's a case of mined over matter.

"How many proposals have the Democrats made? Zero."

White House spokesbarbie here was talking about pandemic unemployment benefits, which are expiring right ... NOW.

Meanwhile the Senate walked out for a long weekend and won't be back until Monday. Thanks Mitch.

How many proposals have the Democrats made? Zero.

Um, no, that's not correct.

Democrats have put forward literally DOZENS of proposals in the House and the Senate since the Pandemic began. Hundreds if you actually include all the times over the years they tried to increase wages, expand healthcare, improve unemployment benefits, and provide social safety nets for just such an emergency as this one.

I mean, there is a record of all of this.

Literally a public record. You could actually look it up.
