Should be interesting to see what BLM make of history being taught about how the civil rights movement shunned the gay Black man.

Same as we're seeing about misogyny in the civil rights movement and racism among the suffragettes, Bambi.

An awareness of the need to do better.

What they could also teach in classrooms is how the slaves actually got to America, sold off to slave traders by the  Black village chiefs/ Black traditional leaders in Africa, who made lots of money..."Black privilege"...and whose descendents now refuse to apologise for it all....reportedly.

Traditional African rulers should apologise for the role they played in the slave trade, a Nigerian rights group has said in a letter to chiefs.

"We cannot continue to blame the white men, as Africans particularly the traditional rulers, are not blameless," said the Civil Rights Congress.

The letter said some collaborated or actively sold off their subjects.
The group said it was time for African leaders to copy the US and the UK who have already said they were sorry.
