All cats are gray in the dark.

That's what Philly taught me.

Daily Kos article is right,  Trump's remarks were GRUesome.

Today's reports on Kid's favorite site, Real Clear Politics:

General Election: Trump vs. Biden   Economist/YouGov   Biden 50, Trump 42   Biden +8
General Election: Trump vs. Biden   Reuters/Ipsos   Biden 51, Trump 42   Biden +9
General Election: Trump vs. Biden   Rasmussen Reports   Biden 51, Trump 43   Biden +8
General Election: Trump vs. Biden   USC Dornsife   Biden 51, Trump 43   Biden +8

It brings the average back up to 6.6. It goes over 7.3 if you get rid of the top and bottom polls (10 and 2, respectively), then drops back to 7.25 if you get rid of Rasmussen because their numbers are made up, even when they are in Biden's favor.

270towin has it at 8.0, using only polls released yesterday or today. 7.2 with other candidates included, though none of those polls is from today.

FiveThirtyEight says 7.6; it's been in the 7s since 9/23, but this is the highest. It was in the 6s all the week before that. 7s the rest of September.

The highest it has been was 9.6. The lowest since June 4 was 6.2, which has prompted their comment a week or two ago that this is the steadiest presidential race ever.

Anybody notice an absence of Kid's and Ward's voices in here today?!

Heh.

They are celebrating trump’s great victory.

Seriously though, the White House morticians did a tremendous job on trump’s face.

For the first time in his presidency during the debate, he looked almost as good as Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

He has no regrets, as he did the best he could.

And he doesn't think turning off mics is appropriate, because "both men have 10s of millions of supporters."

Quote
The Fox News Sunday anchor admits he struggled to moderate last night's presidential debate—a contentious affair that one pundit called "two old men shouting at each other"—but he isn't apologizing or taking all the blame. "I've read some of the reviews. I know people think, well, gee, I didn't jump in soon enough" Wallace tells the New York Times in a voice still hoarse from the debate. "I guess I didn't realize—and there was no way you could, hindsight being 20/20—that this was going to be the president's strategy, not just for the beginning of the debate but the entire debate."

Yes.   Cognitive dissonance,  when it's severe,  may require a period of recuperation.  Or they were tied up all day getting their kool-aid recharged.
