Biden's remark was a "spirit of the law, " not "letter of the law" take on the ACB push.

Silver lining of a more Originalist court might be that legislators take more care in crafting legislation that passes Constitutional muster.   If Originalists have integrity (and it's possible ACB might),  then they are a force towards shrinking the SCt, reducing its active role relative to Congress and state legislatures.  Whatever Barret's minuses,  I found her answers to be somewhat reassuring that she wouldn't turn into a religious activist justice.   But more questioning is needed,  in terms of what she did on the appellate bench.
Which is why democrats won’t venture down that path. What she did on the Appellate bench is an open book.

11 mens pro golfers have tested positive for COVID-19 since June

Is this a smaller, greater or about the same percentage as the general population?

Has anyone asked Dustin Johnson where he thinks he got infected?  Why not?

Biden forgot Romney's name

Heh
A Biden gaffe! Congratulations! Have some hamberders and covfefe in celebration.

ITS FUCKING ONGOING!

The guy wont take a cognitive test.

This is your guy?

Verrrrry scary.

...sipping covfefe here, fighting windmill cancer,  drinking bleach, nuking a hurricane,  watching a documentary of Revolutionary War troops taking over airports,  sitting in an invisible F35, sterilizing my colon with a UV light I stuck up there, and eating some Thighland cuisine!

Kiid hasn’t had an orgasm since the Obama administration. Biden is getting him hard again so he’s starting to have a little hope.

Donnie doped up dipshit is polling more or less in line with his actual vote share last go round. With significant stay at home, third party enthusiasm, and ratfucking, dipshit dirt bag slimed his way into the White House to fester in a swamp of graft and failure.

There is very little interest in any third party and far fewer undecideds with the vast bulk of those already off the fence landing on the side of Joe Biden and the survival of the United States.

All that’s left to trump is the ratfucking, which he’s ramped up to eleven on the dial. If we work hard it won’t be enough to win him the election, but it will be enough to damn him and his collaborators to a swift trial and a long long incarceration.

"There's a misconception that public health failed. The truth is that political leaders failed to follow public health guidance, and that's what caused avoidable disease, death and economic destruction," said Dr. Tom Frieden, the former director of the CDC.

I look forward to a full and thorough census recount as this one gets thrown out for being both fraudulent and incomplete.

It will be an opportunity for some of those with jobs destroyed recently by trump to get some temporary occupation.

By the time it gets to the Supreme Court, the Justices will uphold it 7-6.

5.6 million viewers tuned in to ABC to watch the Los Angeles Lakers top the Miami Heat to capture the NBA title Sunday night, the lowest-rated Finals series on record.

The number were  less than half of those who tuned in for a regular season "Sunday Night Football" match-up between the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks, which drew 11.4 million on NBC.

For context,
Game 6 last year between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors delivered 18.34 million viewers;
Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls drew 36.9 million in 1998 for their Game 6 victory over the Utah Jazz,
An ESPN documentary series that aired in May on Jordan's career in Chicago matched Lakers-Heat on Sunday night, averaging 5.6 million viewers across its eight parts.

"For context" did either of those NBA games conflict with NFL football?

LeBron fatigue-LeBron has played in 9 Finals in the past 10 years.

We're bored with LeBron.

and as noted earlier, the NBA, through no fault of its own, fucked with our sports circadian clocks.

We weren't wired for the NBA Finals to be played in October.

Its time for the World Series, football, and Halloween.

Trump or Treat.

But Trump fatigue has developed much more quickly.

We're tired of Trump-the drama-the disease-the death-the depression.

Tired of Trump.

Except we're also curious and petrified as what the delusonal dictator with no outside shot might launch as the shot clock winds down on his failed presidency.

Thanks for the NBA ratings updated.

They're your lasting contribution to this bored (sic).

A: Well... it depends on the... I’d have to consult with...

Nah. I don’t need to hear more.

She is who she is and she knows why Trump tapped her for this.

She’ll get confirmed because they have the votes but let’s not pretend she wasn’t picked to do the bidding of the most corrupt president ever.

Which is exactly the opposite of what she said .

Winning.

We all lose, but you don't get it.

Violating the spirit of the Constitution.

And this is a stay, while the case moves forward, which is a broken concept for this kind of operation - or as I said before, Sotomayor was right.
