Larry fled his boy Dinkins

Sure wasnt alone

I didn’t flee NYC, I left Long Island but I’ll never forget the time Rudy led NYPD in a fucking riot because Dinkins proposed a civilian review board.

NY’s Finest

Newsday columnist Jimmy Breslin described the racist conduct in chilling detail:

“The cops held up several of the most crude drawings of Dinkins, black, performing perverted sex acts,” he wrote. “And then, here was one of them calling across the top of his beer can held to his mouth, ‘How did you like the niggers beating you up in Crown Heights?’ ”

The off‐duty cops were referring to a severe beating Breslin suffered while covering the 1991 Crown Heights riots in Brooklyn.

Breslin continued: “Now others began screaming … ‘How do you like what the niggers did to you in Crown Heights?’

“ ‘Now you got a nigger right inside City Hall. How do you like that? A nigger mayor.’

“And they put it right out in the sun yesterday in front of City Hall,” Breslin wrote. “We have a police force that is openly racist …”

Newsday reported on other instances of racial abuse. City Councilwoman Una Clarke, a petite black woman, was blocked from crossing Broadway “by a beer‐drinking, off‐duty police officer who said to his sidekick: ‘This nigger says she’s a member of the City Council.’ ”

Mary Pinkett, another black councilwoman, was trapped on the Brooklyn Bridge as her car was rocked back and forth by off‐duty officers. The two elderly passengers in her car were terrified.

Former NYPD officer and New York state senator Eric Adams, currently serving as Brooklyn’s borough president, told Newsday at the time that the demonstration was “right out of the 1950s: A drunk, racist lynch mob storming City Hall and coming in here to get themselves a nigger.”

This was a Democratic Party VP candidate

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/michelle-lujan-grisham-biden-cabinet

And if she is not confirmed by a Republican Senate it will be seen as "partisan", not because of any wrongdoing.

Which, given the Trump cabinet appointments, would seem like a reasonable conclusion to come to, Kid.

"The idea that it is OK for there to be a little bit of fraud as long as it does not affect the overall outcome is ridiculous"

Yes

Or no?

Doesn't seem to bother you about President Trump or his sons, Kid.

Am I the only New York resident from the successor to the New York Times forum?

I of course never lived there, but it sure seems to be the place to be if you want to get to the top in the business world.
Mrs bambu enjoyed her stay there.
Seems to be a good place to live if you have money.
Mrs bambu liked everywhere she travelled in America.
She decided at the end of her travels that she was a
"Walmart and Vegas" gal.

mrs bambu told me that:
Most of the cops she saw on the street in NY were of 'Mediterranean appearance' (incl Italy), who were not so tall and who were
'strutting around trying to look tough'.
Not many Black, or White cops in NY did she see.

"Some degree of abuse is inseparable from the thing itself"
- James Madison

Overall, the election was much closer than it should have been.
But the final results were fairly good at the presidential level.
Biden flipped back the 3 Midwest states Trump narrowly won in '16.
Also flipped AZ and GA, GOP strongholds not long ago.
306-232.

Florida was a disappointment.  As is the fact that OH and IA were not terribly close.
With NV, AZ, NM, & CO, really the West is even.  The GOP gets more states, but emptier ones.
The EV's are just about even.

Obviously the next step is NC and shoring up GA.
Dems could have the entire Eastern seaboard except SC and FLA.
And at some point, Dems will crack FLA.

Again too many real close states this go.
But at least they fell BLUE for the first time in a long time.

GA on everybody's minds.

The final electoral college tally has been called. 306 EV for Biden, 232 EV for trump. Biden for President, trump for prison. The nation has decided.

She doesn't make the race descriptions:

Mediterranen/Middle Eastern Appearance.
White European Appearance
African Appearance
Asian appearance
Aboriginal appearance
Indian appearance.
Cops made them up, had to stop using them..."racist."
Now it is "a man in white shirt and grey pants"...ridiculous.

Australia is ranked 43rd in the world for internet. :-)
That's part of the "backward" title.
CIA base at Pine Gap in the Outback probably has its own better system. :-)
Given that Australia is on the bottom half of the globe and the logistic difficulties in having to put poles and stuff in upside down, plus WFi signals falling down into the ether of space, 43rd is pretty good. If I understand the science correctly.

LOL
It's appalling, that's what it is.

20 Australian inventions that changed the world:
...
4.  Electronic pacemaker

Invented in Buffalo,  NY,  by an American college researcher.   Several others on the list are incorrect,  or give full credit for a partial contribution.   Wi-Fi, for example,  was partly developed by AT&T, partly by CSIRO,  so one nation can't claim full credit.

I've seen this misinformed list around the web before.   Please factcheck.

Cops wanted to catch criminals when they issued descriptions:
"A Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance" described person would have ('black hair and olive or not skin.')
'Southern Italian' maybe.
"A toddler has been kidnapped from a daycare centre...the offender is described as being of :
"................... appearance".
Want the public to find the child they have to know what the kidnapper looks like.
You have to label people by race.
Donald Trump would be described as "White european appearance".
So too Joe Biden
Kamala Harris...you decide.
