Something that might actually convince 2/3rds of the mask-resistors to change their minds!

As for syringes, they are intended to be single use items, so the rod plunger is cleverly designed with an intentional weak point which will break upon repeated uses.
I learned this when feeding tiny abandoned kittens that needed milk.
One thing nice in Shanghai is if you go to a vet and tell them you need a syringe to feed a baby kitten, usually they'll just give you one for free.  The careful ones will open the packaging and remove the needle first ...

Otherwise there is no reason to believe that a Trump rollout of the vaccine will be organized, efficient, non-partisan.  Certainly none of that was the case with Jared in charge of procuring and distributing PPE gear.  I guess we'll have a month to see how the Trumpeters do and then can compare to Biden's handling.  Of course Team Trump has had months and months to prepare, but already there's talk that states will get a lot less and slower than what they were promised.

California must vaccinate 2.4 million healthcare workers first and Gov. Gavin Newsom said earlier this week that the state is only receiving 327,000 doses of the vaccine from Pfizer to start with.

Vaccine rationing is going to be necessary for months, but let's see if current hotspots and dense urban areas and Blue states get their fair share.  What are the odds that Trump doesn't politicize the vaccine rollout and doesn't fark things up?

...It turns out that the Trump administration did not actually have a plan for distribution of vaccines. Federal officials have drastically slashed the amount of vaccine they promised to states before the election. Instead of the 300 million doses the administration had promised before the end of 2020, the plan is currently to distribute 35 to 40 million doses. Even those, though, are plagued by bottlenecks in parts of the production process, as well as manufacturing issues. This means a longer struggle with the disease than many had come to expect.

Trump owns the vaccine process, like Ward said.

Vaccine distribution is on Trump.

Of course, vaccine development has little or nothing to do with Trump.
Pfizer partnered with a German company and did not participate in Trump's Op Warp Speed.  Moderna did.  There similar vaccines were ready at almost exactly the same time.  While other vaccines took the same amount of time to go through development and testing.  Astra-Zeneca in the UK came out with a vaccine on almost the same schedule.

There's also a Russian and Chinese vaccine in the pipeline almost ready.
One of the things that hampered China's numerous vaccine candidates was the total lack of transmission and infections in China after the vaccines were ready.  So they had to go to Brasil to find a country with poor leadership and widespread infections.
Mexico and Egypt as well.  So that's one thing Trump did to speed along vaccines, he ensured that viral transmission was raging so that the US vaccine makers had plenty of test subjects ...

Sinopharm has clinical trials under way in 10 countries including the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Peru and Argentina with nearly 60,000 volunteers. It has built two facilities in China capable of producing 200 million doses per year.

Sinovac has trials in Brazil, Turkey and Indonesia. Its most recent publicized data, a study in the science journal the Lancet, showed its candidate produced lower levels of antibodies in people than those who had recovered from COVID-19. The company projects it will be able to produce a few hundred million doses of the vaccine by February or March of next year.

Another producer, CanSino, is testing in Russia, Pakistan and Mexico

In Valdosta, the president sets out to kill or hospitalize dozens to hundreds more of his followers by having yet another event with almost no mask wearing in crowded conditions.

While at least the rally was outdoors, the packed crowd was yelling and screaming for well over an hour, guaranteeing that if any of them is sick, many more would become so. Doubt it? Look at the pictures. Then watch the video, starting about 5 minutes in (so you can hear the crowd, which is quite excited, rather than "at least I know I'm free" repeatedly).

Or as Kid so succinctly put it, "sick."

You want to be part of the solution and help solve the virus by getting vaccinated, you get a relief check.  You want to be part of the problem and a rugged individualist, well go it alone (no cash for you).

My assumption is that Trump currently views the landscape as Biden will be a one term president due to age.  Which makes Kamala the presumptive favorite for 2024, and Trump sees that as a perfect foil for his white man grievance, racist approach to politics....

He won't spend a dime on other candidates.  He has only been out for himself,  ever.

And he is not well.   In four years,  he will not be in a condition to run,  or possibly even walk.

And in four years,  the population will have more Kamalas and fewer Trumps.

(am prepared to be wrong on any of the above,  but that's how it looks atm)

40 mil

Then 60 in Jan

And 100 mil in Feb

Pretty good amount - but you could post the quotes pre-election so we can all judge.

Btw, Sweden has bailed on the Swedish model:
https://www.wsj.com/articles/long-a-holdout-from-covid-19-restrictions-sweden-ends-its-pandemic-experiment-11607261658

Quote
In an emotional televised address on Nov. 22, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven pleaded with Swedes to cancel all nonessential meetings and announced a ban on gatherings of more than eight people, which triggered the closure of cinemas and other entertainment venues. Starting Monday, high schools will be closed.

Quote
Last week Sweden’s total coronavirus death count crossed 7,000. Neighboring Denmark, Finland and Norway, all similar-sized countries, have recorded since the start of the pandemic 878, 415 and 354 deaths respectively.

Quote
Meanwhile, Sweden’s laissez-faire pandemic strategy has failed to deliver the economic benefits its proponents had predicted. In the first half of the year, Sweden’s gross domestic product fell by 8.5% and unemployment is projected to rise to nearly 10% in the beginning of 2021, according to the central bank and several economic institutes.

Since you can’t comprehend very much of what they post, why would it matter to anyone if you ignore them or not?

Also, your mom wants her two dollars. If you don’t have it when she sees you next she will cut you.

Be careful out there.
