Regardless whether you agree with Kid, who thinks Omar is right, or agree with Ward, who thinks what AOC did was right, it demonstrates that neither the left nor the right are in lockstep on this.

AOC's position, as with Fauci's and Biden's and so many others, is that by getting the vaccine early and publicly, she is demonstrating her faith in it, to encourage those concerned about its legitimacy.

I think they are right on this.

I have a far bigger problem with the folks who have been undermining the seriousness of the problem then seeking to cut in line to get the vaccine.

If they had accompanied their getting it with a public announcement that they now get that they were wrong and this is a serious problem, and everybody should get vaccinated, it would have been okay, I think.

But they didn't.

As things get better in America, they get worse for republicans.
