Pet phrases are a substitute for the effort of understanding complex issues or real people.    Cheap nannies.   Radical socialism.   Liberal elite.   Open borders.   Cities in flames.   These phrases should induce narcolepsy, not interest.

Luee’s strong support for a robust comprehensive nationalized early child care program, adequately staffed and paying union wages is welcome and appreciated.

If by some miracle we stick trump with an insurrection charge, make the penalty retroactively concurrent with the act. Nothing he does or has done since the 6th will have force of law, especially pardons.

Bush “had to deal with” 9/11 exactly the way trump has “had to deal with” Covid, forewarning followed by callous inadequacy leading to utter disaster compounded and compounded until the keys were finally taken away by an overwhelming vote of no confidence.

75 year old US Rep has COVID-19 after having to huddle in place with a bunch of jerks from the GOP.

Kid's line here is "But how do you know that's who she got it from? Huh?!"

I wish her a speedy recovery and no or negligible long term effects.

Many whites voted for Biden and saw  the mental issues of the Donald. Cheap nannies and minority votes is all Nancee is interested in, now has become the long lost daughter of Malcom X. Oh those evil white people did it again. She should be impeached as a phony and a fake inciting race riots.

OK Luee one-note is that all you got? And who did you vote for?

Since border policy has always been racist the phrase "Open Borders" is a racist dog-whistle.  Anyone who uses that term as an argument against a political ideology is a racist.

Interesting news pertaining to the ongoing coup, if anyone likes to watch that sort of thing.

Is Kid gonna let Arnie call him a drunken child beater on an internet video? I thought a tough guy like Kid would do more to stand up for himself. Disappointing is the best you can say for him.

What can he actually do about it, legally?
Answer?
Nothing.

"Many"

Well, Luy, you keep talking about the cheap nannies, but provide no evidence of how many of those there are nor that they are in any way shape or manner a "Democratic Elite" thing vs. a "Republican Elite" thing. My bet is that it is merely wealth, but I can admit I don't have proof. Can you?!

As for "a fake inciting race riots," you have even less evidence of her having done so.

Is she phonier than McCarthy or McConnell or Schumer?

Or you?!

Come to think of it she should change her name to Nancya in honor of her imaginary black parents. Yes the liberal elite need cheap latino domestics to take care of their palatial estates. That is why open borders is numero uno on their agenda. Contemptable white trash cost too much and expect lunch breaks and paid vacations.

Tech hits Trump in the wallet---Silicon Valley's largest companies are rapidly distancing themselves from outgoing President Donald Trump, following last week's right wing domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol.

Stripe over the weekend halted Trump's campaign account for violating policies that encourage violence, Stripe confirmed Monday morning in an email. Stripe is the latest technology firm to take action against Trump, following PayPal, Shopify and GoFundMe.

The e-commerce bans mostly impact Trump's online stores, selling MAGA and Trump-related merchandise and performing general fundraising. In the case of PayPal, it also banned groups raising money to fund travel and protest expenses, such as Joy in Liberty.

The e-commerce and payment bans come alongside a series of moves from other technology companies and social networks, including Twitter, Facebook, Snap, Pinterest and TikTok, which have cut off Trump mostly due to the use of those platforms to spread messaging and support organizing tied to protests against Joe Biden's election. Those protests turned violent last week, leading to swift action from the technology sites.

Private Companies have no obligation to promote public figures on their platforms.

For those who prefer watching to reading, on accountability and unity.

He makes a good point about taking in the lost lambs. Republicans still walk free in California and we more or less live with it. Racist crazies can be managed and marginalized as they go about their lives, like moonies and scientologists. Culture and the economy hum along, at least until the next crazy figures out a way to steal an election.

I gotta disagree with him.   Taking back these folks into society just allows their kind to keep growing unchecked like mold.  You only see how bad things are when the walls come down and the mold is visible.   The answer isn't to just patch things over and cover the mold back up.   It has to be removed.
