With Liz Cheney's straightforward attack on Trump and her intention to vote for impeachment, it's Trump season in DC, and both parties have been given the ok to bag the limit.

As for former Secretary Chao, turn on and turn tail are two different things.

If as Secretary she had remained and lobbied hard for the 25 amendment removal of Putin’s pisspant, that would have been “turning on” donald.

What we know she did is “turn tail”. It doesn’t exonerate her for her role in the administration one bit, though it makes it less urgent to determine her full role in the coup to this point.

She was not removed for policy disagreements.   She used a public platform to spread lies :  demonstrably false claims about election fraud and court proceedings.   That would be fair grounds for dismissal from any advisory board where honest good-faith engagement is part of the job.   You need to dig deeper than Left-bashing propaganda.
