The GOP continues its efforts to block legal voters from voting when they are likelier to be voting for Democratic Party candidates:

North Dakota has a budget surplus.

Are ANY polling places (across the US)  being eliminated in Republican heavy districts?  Have you researched it?  Has anyone?

I can't find them, Kiid.

You are encouraged to look for them, yourself, since I doubt you would take my word for it.

VISCOUS.   -- yours truly,

Kid,  if you get to the polls and can't vote,  are you okay with that?   Your are just one voter,  so it's "inconsequential" right?   So,  might as well stay home.   Or is there a consequential reason you are going to vote anyway?  What would that be?   Just curious.

Josh,  I replied to Kid's quest for facts.   So did Larry.   Guess how that went.

Oglala Lakota County, 2016 election:

Clinton: 86%

Trump   8%

Just in case there are any lingering doubts about how Indians vote....

Yeah.......

and abut what, 6% of the state....

but the number of supposed "disenfranchised" will quite likely be inconsequential.

I would imagine some homeless people in ND would like to vote as well.

You're an asshole.

What was Heitkamp’s margin of victory?

Yeah, 1%.

Fuck off.

Dude - did you attend college?

The entire 6% is not at issue here

You know the phrase, "every vote counts?"

Well, every vote counts.

So, if the gap of that 6% of the population was 78% of them, making a 4.68 difference in the total and this time instead of what would have been winning by 1% she would have won by 0.3%, then if the total disenfranchised (NO FUCKING QUOTES) is 10% of the indigenous peoples, she would lose instead of win.

But you have no idea what the percentage with p.o. boxes is. So, you don't know how many votes are being potentially threatend.

Remember Virginia not long ago? A flipping flipped coin decided that one!

So, shut the fuck up about "it's not the entire 6%." We know that.

One vote denied is too many, but you seem to be struggling with that.

In twin news reports, the Justice Department has accused Russians of meddling in our midterm elections:
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/19/us/politics/russia-interference-midterm-elections.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur

and Vladimir Putin is gloating over the loss of America's moral leadership in the world:
https://www.rawstory.com/2018/10/putin-hails-fall-united-states-moral-leader-around-globe-annual-speech/

(The Financial Times piece is behind a paywall that is firmer than the NYT wall.)

I missed that.

You missed the point, though.

It's not that Oglala is in North Dakota, but that its voting percentage is akin to that of the Native Americans where the votes are affected.

And since one vote can swing an election...

IT IS IN SOUTH DAKOTA!

And since one vote can swing an election...
That voting per cent age was for Oglala and has nothing to do with Fort Berthold in North Dakota.
Your post of a tweet from a Fort Berthold Voter complaining of polling place closures ignores the fact it was necessitated  by budget problems. Most of the tribe members live and work elsewhere because of high unemployment.

In any time or place a republican has a chance to do something creepy, dishonest, and unamerican, that republican won’t hesitate to do so. Republican office holders are among the lowest form of vermin. You can count on them to do the wrong thing every time. They do wrong in North and in South Dakota.

Notice the focus on minutiae and avoidance of the issue at hand.

Republicans lose when more people vote so they make sure those people have a hard time voting.

Someone once said, “If voting mattered they wouldn’t let you do it.” I guess the GOP knows minority votes matters.

Notice the focus on minutiae and avoidance of the issue at hand.

The minutae is the original post with no corroboration. There is no repression of any vote on the North Dakota reservation since 80 per cent of the tribe live and work off the reservation in order to make a living.
