The voters have spoken on ObamaCare and the party is weakened because of it.

Yeah, sure,,,,that would be nice. But isn’t it just about enough to be against the worst president in U.S. history? Shouldn’t getting rid of Trump be just about the greatest priority that there ever could be in the coming elections?

No

The anger is getting the best of you.  We are trying to tell you - dont just make this about Trump.

Right, which is why Republicans are bending backwards in this election cycle to claim (lie) that they want to maintain the coverage for pre-existing conditions that the ACA provides.

Seems the GOP thinks the voters still have something to say on the matter.

LOL.

The Trumpist who reposts already disproven conspiracy theories trying to invalidate assassination attempts against prominent Democrats is trying to tell them how to win the midterms.

Anger is a motivator.  It brings people to the polls.  And the GOP have traditionally taken advantage of their anger advantage to win the turn-out battle in mid-terms.  Now they have lost that advantage because of patriotic Americans desire to check a blatantly corrupt incompetent misogynistic racist and unqualified President, and suddenly being Angry is bad...

In 2010 Republicans were marching in the streets with AR-15s at their shoulder to protest Americans getting healthcare, but kidcarter8 is really concerned that anger at Trump is getting the best of Democrats...

Truly LOL.

In 2010 the democrats were walking the figurative plank of a healthcare plan that was built on lies. They have yet to recover.

As a moderator elsewhere in cyberspace, I can tell you that "you're angry" is the most popular troll tactic out there.  The implication is that anger is

1. always a paroxysm of emotion that clouds the target's mind and impairs judgment

2. always a manifestation of malignant hatred and bias

3.  always comes from a negative attitude which the troll, praise be, does not have.

The troll tactic is actually a variant on the logical fallacy of ad hominem.  I think everyone here has figured out that it's what a troll does because he's just out to score points for his "team," not really learn how other people think about things, or consider their evidence.

You seem upset about this.

Trump is the president.  He is guiding current policy.  A political opponent has to offer reasons why Trump's policies don't work and why his will.  I think a strong contender will not take Warren's path and will keep the debate on specific policies of the Trump admin, and not attack Trump personally (which would be easy to do, given that Trump is an amoral and cynical manipulator and world-class liar).  If Trump's opponent takes the high road, people will sit up and take notice.  Independents, now 30% of the electorate, generally poll as against ad hominem politics.  Courtesy will swing them.

Built on lies...so it hasn't added Millions to the healthcare rolls in part by covering Americans with preexisting conditions?  And surely, if it was all lies the ACA would be unpopular, yes?  Instead of its repeal going down after poling in the low 30s?

Politically, Democrats have recovered.  Their running on the ACA while Republicans run away from their attempts to repeal it are pretty obvious indication of that.

But Obama gave an incomplete description of the law's grandfather clause! Makes the whole thing a house of cards!

The republicans never recovered from 2010. Unfortunately, this is the cycle where they have to be taken to that nice farm upstate.

We’ miss them, but pa says they’ll be much happier there.

I mean before he blunders us into something so terrible that he can’t possibly lie his way out of it and we all end up being screwed?

Quote references their stand on  immigration, not Democrats generally.  But this is a general critique you hear from Republicans, and I think its hilarious.

They ran a midterm entirely about opposition to more people having health insurance (in part, by providing coverage for pre-existing conditions that in this election cycle they are claiming to be for when they aren't) but somehow Democrats are less worthy for running against rank corruption and self-dealing, incompetence at the highest levels of government, and very possibly a straight up treasonous President.

And thing is, that isn't even what they are doing.  Campaigns are largely about local issues.  See Beto O'Rourke, for example.
I agree.   Which is why they, Democrats, should avoid like the plague getting involved in idiotic back-and-forth about things like Elizabeth Warren's heritage.

Elizabeth Warren’s heritage? Really? That’s is so two weeks ago.
