New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has had better weeks.

His attempt to block an NRA lawsuit  was dismissed in Federal Court and his gift bag to Amazon costing New York taxpayers over a billion $ is being hammered by the Left!

The NRA battle stems from Cuomo directing his Department of Financial Services to ask financial institutions within the state to reevaluate any relationship they may have with the NRA and decide whether it may “harm their corporate reputations and jeopardize public safety.”

The NRA filed suit and Cuomo moved to dismiss it. The ACLU even came down on the side of the NRA
A federal judge said this week the lawsuit deserves to be heard by a jury:

U.S. District Judge Thomas McAvoy of the Northern District of New York said in a lengthy decision that the NRA’s claims that actions by Cuomo and Department of Financial Services Superintendent Maria Vullo stifled its free speech rights were sufficient enough to be evaluated at trial.


The Amazon deal to build one of two new headquarters in NewYork was secured by $1.5 billion in tax giveaways from Cuomo et al.
Amazon admits those giveaways amount to $48,000 per new Amazon worker who will make, on average, $150,000 a year. Meanwhile the poor slobs who serve the rich  condo owners in Gotham are left with a rotting subway system and streets in disrepair.  Socialist Alexandria Octasio-Cortez is appalled, appalled I tell you! at the crony capitalism gall of Cuomo.

He wants to be President!

This is nearly a year old, now, but as relevant today as it was then.

Its relevance is especially near and dear to we Elbans, and our own poster children for the Dunning Kruger effect, Redd, Kiid, and Baambu.

Just imagine the outcry if the Dems pulled the kind of crap that the GOP pulled in North Carolina and want to pull in Wisconsin and Michigan, limiting the incoming Democratic governor's power.
