Truth matters not these days

It's the spin that is important.
Whatever gets Trump's Gallup unfavorable toward 60 and above......truth aside..is at the crux of much of the reporting of US current events

Sad.

So close to getting it!

The bolded section is dead on.

But the rest of it is evidence of what you were saying, only with the spin going tother way.

Trump's blather and his puppet, Ms. Sanders, and her perpetual lies on his behalf are all image-based without a hair of sincerity in them.

And you are just more of the same.

Speaking of spin and lying scum...

Sarah H Sanders wishes the report were more fact-based. Not that she's read it any more than her boss has.

I wish they were fact-based!

You lament truth not mattering (while supporting a President who lies to an absolutely unprecedented degree, but anyway) then accuse reporting of current events to be purposefully skewed toward hurting Trump's popularity without one shred of evidence.  Is your statement truth or a rehash of Trump's spin, kiidcarter8?

Its the truth that is hurting Trump, keeping down his approval rating.  Which is why he is the one who skews and spins it to his favor.  Including his spin/lies about how he is being covered in the media.

Trump Campaign advisers coordinated timing of messaging and content with Wikileaks:

https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/27/politics/mueller-stone-corsi-wikileaks/index.html

If that isn't collusion...

A fair amount of stuff coming out as court filings ramp up to Mueller's release on what he has on Manafort.

And Trump and his team sure aren't acting like the stuff that will continue to come out will exonerate them.

It isn’t collusion (conspiracy to defraud the United States) anymore than trump and Manafort’s lawyers co-habitating isn’t Obstructing Justice.

In Mississippi tonight support for rejoining the Union was north of 46% while staying in the confederacy only garnered less than 54%.

Progress.

A couple dozen Puerto Rican restaurants in Biloxi, Tuepelo, and Jackson aught to do it. Salsa up those Blues and shuffle on into the new day.

Interesting that Morning Joe Scars and the Meekster are OFF this week, as the caravan that was a month away arrives ....ahem....early

This caravan expected to be about 8-10 in number ....I kid you not....he said it....by the time it actually arrived...if it ever did

They get a honeymoon, right?

You missed the news about the buses, then? The bulk of the caravan is still far south.

Follow the money. Who supplied the busses? Who is funding the caravan? GOP?

Giuliani in front of Congress trying to answer questions will be fun to watch.

What did the President know and when did he know it?

Did you not think to advise the President that by gathering Intel from Paul Manafort as to the kinds of questions Mr. Mueller was asking that such a tact would be indeed enabling the President to obstruct Justice?

Eroding Base Alert:

Quote
On Tuesday night, an unlikely critic took President Trump to task for his comments portraying members of the migrant caravan now massed in Tijuana as “criminals” and “gang members.” In a video posted on Facebook, Ammon Bundy, the anti-government militia leader, pushed back against Trump’s heated rhetoric.

“He has basically called them all criminals and said they’re not coming in here. It seems that there’s been this group stereotype,” Bundy said in a 17-minute clip. “But what about those who have come here for reasons of need? . . . What about the fathers, the mothers, the children, who have come here and are willing to go through the process to apply for asylum so they can come into this country and benefit from not having to be oppressed continually by criminals?"
--WaPo (today)

I'm seeing that phrase "unlikely critic" more and more these days.

Telling, isn’t it, that any kind of humanity and compassion from a presumed Trump supporter is seen as “unlikely,”
