Well I guess you and I look at the world differently then. What's a little darkening of the face to look like Michael Jackson among friends?

If it's done by a Democratic Party official or other stalwart of some sort, it is a villainous act to be denounced by everybody and if you fail to do it as a Democrat, then you are a heinous hypocrite.**

If it's done by a Republican Party official or other stalwart, it is a thing they have grown out of, misinterpreted, being blown out of proportion, or just plain to be ignored.

**If a deceased Democrat did such things, then he is to be used as an example to make whatever point one wishes to make to demonize the extant Democrats.

You tell me.

Why should anybody tell you anything ever?

You don't listen.

You don't care.

And, ultimately, you don't matter.

This is an interesting article with an amazing graphic, for those of you who actually care about the country.

https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2018-us-land-use/?utm_medium=social&cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business&utm_content=business&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=socialflow-organic

It's a serial graphic of changing images, so you have to open the article to see it, but it's worth the click. It shows progressive maps illustrating how much of our nation's land is used for what purpose, culminating in a single map of the US that has the relative areas of each use on it.

It is good to know that these wonderful modern ladies have finally recognized their need to escape the yoke of dark age religiosity. Come stay with Luee and do his laundry.

In today's trade balance negotiations, China offered to sell their wall.

Very interesting Josh.

It’s a clear illustration of why we need to abolish the electoral college.

The feds found trump’s inauguration money. They are getting ready to add the reporting crimes to the conspiracy launder money and defraud the United States all set to be charged. Working with trumps in any capacity means clocking into a crime scene.

You’ve got to be involved in REDSTATEWARD levels of tax fraud to afford the upkeep on 72 Saudi laundresses.

Kamala Harris tweeted after the results were in last year in the Virginia Gubernatorial race that
"Thank Goodness that Virginia has been preserved from racism by Ralph Northam!"
Harris was among the first of the democrat Presidential hopefuls to throw Northam under the bus when the year book pictures became public.
Is there any evidence that Northam has, in any way, demonstrated racism in his adult life?
Just asking.

And if the democrats are so strong about giving convicted felons another shot at society, from voting rights on up, how do they square that with telling Northam to take a hike for a 35 year old year book photo?
He was an adult when that picture appeared. And he gets to keep voting. What is your point, other than the opposite of what your criticism would be if Harris HADN'T called for his resignation?

I suppose, to some, it is gratifying that a politician who won an election by falsely playing a race card is now about to be hoist on his own petard. And democrats are rightly  derided for the messy bed of identity politics they now squirm in.  But this is another example of politics run amok and a further reminder that without a change in course there will be no decent people willing to serve in public office.

When your oponent runs a racist campaign it is neither a)false, nor b)  "playing a race card" to point that out.  The yearbook photo doesn't change that.

And democrats are rightly  derided for the messy bed of identity politics they now squirm in.

Who is deriding Democrats?  They are calling for Northam to quit.

But this is another example of politics run amok and a further reminder that without a change in course there will be no decent people willing to serve in public office.

Politics run amok!  I agree with you that Northam is a decent person.  But having held views that alienate and insult a large prtion of the people he serves and thus far being unable to convincingly explain how it is those views are no longer relevant to him, he is unqualified to serve.

But naturally the Trumpist here doesn't find racism to be disqualifying.

Such "radical" tax ides:

Tax plan proposed by Warren: +41%.  +20 percent with Republicans.
Tax plan proposed by Ocasio-Cortez: +13% (with 31% support from Republicans)
63% of voters think the wealthy pay too little in taxes.

Meanwhile, popularity of Trump's tax "cut" not going to be going up as Middle Class Americans finish their taxes in the next few months.
