Here is Putin, who Trump's Attorney General lawyer claims is out to get him, endorsing his own view that the Mueller Report proved no collusion.

Re:  "Republican screw ups"

Well... we got the important one right in 2016.

McCain couldnt get it done.  Mitt (who should have been nominated in '08) fell short in '12.

Got it right this time.  Nominated a guy/gal who could win.

Let's see if you guys can match.

Meanwhile, The Trump Administration is building a case for war with Iran based on falsehoods in order to distract from their own incompetence and corruption (is this going to be a thing that every Republican Administration has to do now?) the Attorney General is fully gearing up to abuse his office for Trump's political gain, and its been confirmed that the planets carbon dioxide levels are higher now than at any point in human history...so there are other things we should be talking about.

We are at war already

Wait....we're not?  But i thought Trump - if elected - would have us at war with North Korea.  No, Russia.  No, it was China.

Saying Trump hasn't yet gotten us into a major war is not the most compelling endorsement of a 2020 candidate I've heard.

More that kiidcarter8 thinks he can toot his horn that concerns that Trump was erratic and susceptible to Right Wing-nut arguments for war have been proven unjustified even as his administration is now seeking any pretext it can find to justify armed conflict with Iran.

Don't throw good money after bad.

So, erm, getting elected is the most important thing in public service?

With competence, accountability to all Americans, honesty, morals, and respect for the Constitution coming in a distant second.

Uh huh.

Reminds me of the West Wing episode where President Bartlett wanted to blow things up overseas - and was told by his advisors why it was unwise.

"We lost this one, sir"

"I fought in a  jungle war and I dont want to be involved in another one"

22 Alabama State Senators voted against an amendment to permit women who were pregnant from rape or incest to get an abortion.

Pure coincidence, right?

I didn't need to see the photos to know this legislation was coming from wealthy white people mostly of the male persuasion.  IIRC the sponsor was a woman.  As is the governor who is likely to sign it.  The woman sponsor said she just wants to get it to SCOTUS, in order to bring down RvW.

Quote
Supporters had argued that exceptions would weaken their hope of creating a vehicle to challenge Roe. Collins said that the law isn’t meant to be a long-term measure and that lawmakers could add a rape exception if states regain control of abortion access...

Participants at a meeting between Republican senators and White House senior advisers Jared Kushner and Stephen Miller found the President's advisers' proposal to revamp the US legal immigration system to be lacking in substance, according to a senior GOP official familiar with the presentation.

Lacking in substance?  Maybe Kushner really is the leader of the GOP.

No, Kiiid, you got it wrong.

This is what I mean about being unable to admit mistakes.

You will burn for your sins. Unfortunately, so will the rest of us.

It’s a bad plan that will fail and go nowhere. It is creepy and racist and betrays American values, so I see what you like about it.
