That said, I ONLY think it's a good move IF we keep iHART...OTHERWISE, a really bad move lol...

so no way a four offensive position team gets past a five position team. Pending the next move, I rescind my approval of the big move. Still fun to watch.... But a healthy C's gonna wax our ass...

If Thibs is willing, we play OG or Julius at the offensive Center more this year.  So you can still go 5 out and try to outscore the Cs.

Before the 2023-2024 season if you said the Knicks will trade for Bridges and Anunoby and the cost is RJ+IQ+iHART+5 picks I think we all sign for it.

Ya gotta add Grimey in there too..cause he brings Bogey who goes for Bridges.

Basically all our youth cept Deuce and the better part of our pick ammo.

I flat out love our team. I can't wait for the coming season.

But I don't personally blow that wad without a 1 or 1A guy coming back and suspect we're capped at ECF with out a scoring or facilitating big

**** barring injuries to the other contenders.

Julius is my guy. The beast. But I mean another 1A guy coming back for all those picks n yute.

I tried to watch the Nets a few times last season. It hurt.

Miles Bridges didn't show me (*(^.$ Ever. Half the time it was like he wasn't there. Just some guy in a uni.

So I'm like, ALL those assets for a guy who is 99% LESS DOG than the guy he's replacing in the starting lineup?

Especially when, with iHart leaving, we have a pretty big hole anytime Mitch blows his nose and a pretty big hole all the time cause there ain't no offense generation from that spot.

Maybe the Villa love fest lights the fire. Maybe he was miscast in Brooklyn. Maybe it was just too hard watching his friends having fun without him in MSG. Maybe I'm totally off. Maybe he's just what we need.

I absolutely love our team. But this is why I don't LOVE the trade like everybody else.

MIKAL, not Miles.

Anyway, miscast as a #1 option?  Agree.

Still, was good for what, 20-6-3 or thereabouts.  And who was he.playing with exactly?

He made his bones in Phoenix as a defensive stopper, 3rd-4th option, much as he did in Villinova.

Thus is he tasked in NY.

All.those picks? An overpay?  Brunson was an overpay, according to the ckickbait intelligentsia.

Some were castigating Leon for stockpiling picks.  LET'S USE THEM.

We just did.

I like our chances to contend.  Experience, continuity, and now, a player who can impact first and second units, a nice fit in an established, post Mike Miller system.

As for 1 and 1a?  Okay.

Who?  Where?  How?

I sincerely doubt either is on Thibs' radar.

Hukporti is raw, but has size and skill set.  Liked jim rolling to the basket with Kokek in give and go, pick and rolls.

Sign Precious and move on.

Signing Precious should be priority one.

Signing Precious would give us thirteen players under big league contracts. There is still room for a center prospect or two. Omer and Jay are both seven footers who can play drop and have a bit of a floor game. We should give one or both a look.

There is no package we could send out for a vet center in a trade that would not make our roster worse in the aggregate.

FA is the only sensible path.

Precious if possible plus one more bigger big guy would be the best way to complete this team.

I guess the Knicks see Deuce as an off guard.

Cam Payne here on a minimum

Mitch Sims
Randle KBD Dadiet
OG Hart
Bridges DiVincenzo McBride
Brunson Payne Kolek

Two spots left to fill

He went out with a resigned Shake Milton to get us the flexibility to sign Precious
