I see the Filibuster serves democrats well when it results in making sure  babies that survive abortions are denied care given to all other babies.

Bart-Red has a short list of things that Repubs can rally around.

They lost "democracy" and "peaceful transition of power" and they're still sorting out a shit-ton of conspriacy theories

So until then they're sticking with

Fealty to Trump
Right to life
Right to the Confederate flag
Racism
Lynyrd Skynyrd's Greatest Hits
Satanic baby-eating Socialist Dems running up huge deficits

Shylock to Soros-Jews with space-lasers may be the next on the approved list

and fwiw I'm pretty sure MTG was a baby who survived abortion and she found a home in the Q-Repub Party

LA today...sad really.
Maybe Joe can fix it.
Sign an executive "Clean up, and keep up LA" order or something.

Still no facts.  The Congressional Record may well have facts,  but your posts failed to cite them or offer any interpretation.  What "babies"?  What bill?

Surely you cannot be that naive about what just transpired in the Senate a day ago?
As part of consideration of a budget resolution on Thursday, Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) tried to insert an amendment based on his Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. The legislation requires that babies born alive during botched abortions receive the same standard of care that other newborns of the same gestational age would.

Sasse’s amendment failed to receive the necessary 60 votes to be included in the budget resolution, receiving only 52 votes in favor and 48 votes against.

Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Bob Casey (D-Penn.) were the only two Democrats who joined Senate Republicans in supporting Sasse’s amendmenT.

Quote
The CDC examined infant death certificates between 2003 and 2014 and identified 143 cases where the infant was born alive during an attempt to terminate the pregnancy. To put that in perspective: there were more than 9.3 million abortion procedures performed in the United States during that same 12-year period, PolitiFact Texas reported.

The details of the 143 cases in the CDC report are sparse. The report was generated using death certificates, which included more than 40 terms for describing the cause.

Here’s what we do know: 97 reportedly involved a maternal complication or a congenital anomaly. About 42 percent of the deaths occurred within an hour of birth, 54 percent occurred between one and 23 hours after birth, and about 4 percent of the deaths occurred a day after birth.

PolitiFact asked the CDC for state-specific data from its report on the 143 infants born alive, but a CDC spokesman said the agency can’t provide it.
...
“If we did what these politicians are claiming we’re doing, we’re already breaking the law. No one is actually doing that,” Brandi told Vox. “At least, I should say, no credible doctor or practitioner is doing anything anywhere even close to what they’re suggesting.”

IOW, it's already illegal and the proposed bill is trying to solve a problem that does not exist. All the bill would do is muddy waters for the purpose of claiming they had prevented something that does not happen.

It failed in the senate last year when there was a GOP majority.  Why did some GOP senators vote against it then? Because the bill could criminalize doctors who remove a nonviable fetus and is also unnecessary — not only because a live birth after an abortion attempt is an extremely unlikely scenario but also because laws already exist to protect an infant in this instance anyway.    Context,  old chap,  is important.

I heard that a Mohel in Wyoming is retiring and has a Rothschild XTC-15, used only for the occasional bris and igniting charcoal briquettes. Starts a nice fire. I'll see what I can find out.

No intelligence briefings for Trump.

Biden expressed concern over some of Trump's behavior, but he should have stuck to the simple truth:

"Trump didn't read or heed the briefings when he was POTUS. Why on Earth waste the money now?!"
