Can you still run for state office when you are serving Federal time? They are breaking so many laws with their cyber ninja festival that we are going to find out.

Speaking of federal crimes, Kevin McCarthy is terrified of being forced to testify about conversations with his mentally ill overlord.

Red, according to the ancient tradition of law you pretend to cite, firearms are so far above your station that even looking longingly at one would get you branded and maimed in any upright jurisdiction.

Fortunately for you your interpretation is as false as it is irrational. You can continue to spank your useless member to gun porn without fear of losing your thumbs.

She [Katie Hobbs ] questioned whether procedures were in place to hire qualified, unbiased people to serve as ballot counters, noting that reporters have spotted former state Rep. Anthony Kern (R) among the ballot counters. Kern was on the November ballot and was photographed attending pro-Trump rallies in Washington on Jan. 6.

Riiiiiight

And a Black Lives Matter supporter was on the Chauvin jury

Is what it is.  Folks have lives.

False equivalence.  Kern joined in rallies committed to the election being fraudulent and Trump the true winner.   More like putting Hannibal Lecter on a task force to reduce cannibalism.  But BAE.

ACLU

21 minutes  ·

Last year, 81% of people detained by ICE were held in facilities run by private prison companies.

President Biden must end these contracts. No one should profit off the detention of immigrants.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/private-prisons-could-see-fortunes-change-under-biden-immigration-policy-11619800623

-------------------

We need to make our immigrants legal, like President Reagan did, so that they can legally work, and so that they can join Labor Unions and so that they can call the police in the case of an emergency.

The police are there to protect and serve, and many cops are from Mexico, but sadly right now the immigrants are scared of the cops because of ICE, etc, the immigrants are scared of the police, and that is not how it should be. The cops are there to serve the public, and the public should not fear the police. We need to make our immigrants legal so that they are not afraid of the police.

Sonny Bono wrote our Copyright Law, and we could write a new immigration law just as easily.

And we need to have a "GOOD NEIGHBOR" policy for our good neighbors Mexico and Canada, the same as how a man from Ireland can easily go live in Italy, etc.

We can also send Labor Union representatives to our Southern Border to tell our immigrants where the good union jobs are.

Salute,

Women are being raped, and they are afraid to call the cops, we need to make everyone legal so they can call the cops.

I had a neighbor from El Salvador and her ex-husband used to get drunk and come over and rape her whenever he wanted. I had to threaten him in order to stop him, I told him that if he raped her again then he was going to have to deal with me. So, he stopped.

After she was protected then she blossomed, she used to cook for me, and she was so much happier.

We need to have Liberty and Justice for all, and we need to make our people legal so they can be protected by our umbrella of rights and laws and justice.

KCET

2 hours  ·

Emmy-nominated tap dancer Chloe Arnold credits dance for saving her life. Now, she is paying it forward by offering inner-city youth an opportunity to connect with themselves and others through dance.

https://www.kcet.org/shows/artbound/chloe-arnold

---------------------

I have a friend who was a homeless dance teacher in Detroit, and I told her to connect with City Hall and provide dance classes for the homeless women. Being a dance teacher is a wonderful skill and she can help many women. They can save each other, she needs to be doing dance classes, and the homeless people need the classes.

I can't wait for Ward's LOL at 900,000 dead.
You have an nonexistent memory.
I posted several times last year that the death toll( and the reported cases) were way underreported.
I don’t know if the NPR story is right but it wouldn’t surprise me since the change of lifestyle necessitated by lockdowns could have had a huge psychological price tag resulting in tens of thousands of deaths.
Even in the millions worldwide.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/06/politics/affordable-care-act-enrollment-premiums/index.html

A million more people signed up for Obamacare after Biden reopened enrollment, according to the article.

I watched one of those who signed up in late February with insurance for the first time and has gotten superb care despite no income or resources.

Read the IHME findings.  The excess deaths figures were not from psychological problems,  but were directly a result of SARS-Covid-2.

The group reached its estimates by calculating excess mortality based on a variety of sources, including official death statistics from various countries, as well as academic studies of other locations.

Then, it examined other mortality factors influenced by the pandemic. For example, some of the extra deaths were caused by increased opioid overdoses or deferred health care. On the other hand, the dramatic reduction in flu cases last winter and a modest drop in deaths caused by injury resulted in lower mortality in those categories than usual.

Researchers at UW ultimately concluded that the extra deaths not directly caused by COVID-19 were effectively offset by the other reductions in death rates, leaving them to attribute all of the net excess deaths to the coronavirus.
