So if we want to discuss CRT, why bother with opinion pieces? Here are a few simple questions:
What is Critical Race Theory, and what does it teach?
Who is being taught it, and under what classes/circumstances?
Why is it historically inaccurate - or rather, why is it an inappropriate way to view American history, to such an extent that merely teaching it needs to be surpressed?
What view of race and racism in the US do you believe should be taught, and why doesn't that view share the same problem you identify as a problem with CRT?
I think that is far more valuable a discussion than discussing an opinion piece that can simply and legitimately be answered by, no it is not.
