Riots are scary.
During the last riot here for George Floyd, I was on the computer trying to teach the cops how to do crowd control, and making sure that we protected our grocery stores, etc. No one was standing up to do crowd control, they were just letting the crowds riot. I was trying to get action to control the riot instead of just letting the rioters have their way.
I live in a gated community, so I am pretty safe, but still, it was scary. We had people marching here from 3 different directions, and meeting at 3 areas by where I live.
The cops need to prepare and train in advance so they are comfortable working with crowds, etc. The cops need to work at Universal Studios, and at Disneyland, and at Angel games, and at rock concerts, etc, and the cops need to get comfortable working with large crowds. ( When I worked at Universal Studios we averaged 25,000 people per day, that is more people than in the whole town of Battle Mountain, Nevada. )
Riots are scary, we can help to make the riots less scary by training the cops and everyone on how to handle riots, so when it happens everyone has everything planned out. We can control the areas, we can do blockades, we can protect the grocery stores, everything needs to be planned out.
And here in Anaheim we can ship food and goods up from Mexico in the case of an extreme emergency in Los Angeles. We need to invest in the ports in Mexico, it is in our best interest.
