The Washington Post apologizes for racist remarks regarding a black SCOTUS Justice and Josh and the ELBA  liberals look the other way.
How predictable.

Haven't read the Post in a couple days, it's not my primary daily news source.  As for apology, all I found was a correction note at the start of the Jim Clyburn piece.

A previous version of this story imprecisely referred to Justice Clarence Thomas opinions as often reflecting the thinking of White conservatives, rather than conservatives broadly. That reference has been removed.

The original version, released Wednesday afternoon, was long enough, and the comment far enough down, that it's likely many readers didn't see it.  So "liberals look the other way" is an absurd framing of this.
So liberals only read the headlines?
Absurdity is your life.
You sir are a master of unintended irony.

No apology was issued.  No "dig" was made. It was a correction of an imprecise comment that Thomas's thinking reflected that of white conservatives.  Since at least 80% of conservatives are white, it was not actually wrong, just inaccurate, since Thomas's views likely reflect those of conservatives of all ethnicities.

Tempest in a teapot.

And I deem it likely that both liberals and conservatives, when reading multiple news articles, some over two thousand words in length, may glean the salient points in the first thousand words (or less) and then move on.  Welcome to the Information Age, when those of us with jobs and obligations have to read selectively.  If you're being honest, do you read the entirety of every long article posted here, or otherwise brought to your attention?  (I didn't find the Clyburn piece all that interesting, tbh)
ROFL!
The poster doth protest too much.

Ward, you continue to be full of shit.

It is what he chooses to be fed.

The overacting is his cowardly response to losing engagement after engagement on every front of his miserable life. He knows he does not have much time left and will have his legacy erased due to his epic run of terrible decisions.

What are the odds Biden will screw up a slam dunk SCOTUS nomination?

Just 2 days ago the Washington Post proudly proclaimed that South Carolina Congressman Jim Clyburn holds the most influence over the Biden pick and Clyburn likes South Carolina Appeals Court Justice Michelle Childs.
The Post story, in emphasizing the Clyburn Clout, quoted a democrat insuring any nominee Clyburn chose would not wind up on SCOTUS as another Clarence Thomas. The Post writer added that was an obvious reference to the Black Justice whose rulings often resemble the thinking of White conservatives. The Post since removed that last statement for obvious reasons.

But now party progressives are objecting to Childs because she once sent a black man to prison for 12 years for possessing less than a pound of marijuana!

Never mind the now Appeals Court Justice has sentenced thousands of criminals to jail in her career this one case must prove she will behave as , wait for it,
A CONSERVATIVE!

Poor Joe.
That perpetually black cloud just continues to hover over his head.

Keep,in mind the Childs nomination also has bi partisan support from Lindsay Graham and, possibly, other GOP Senators.

Mitch has invalidated the votes of GOP senators when it comes to judges and justices during this session of Congress.

Their uninformed opinions, racism, treason, and general malfeasance are of no weight where these issues are concerned.

Child abuse is basically how conservatives treat one another as adults as well.

Pretty much zero. The chance that you and the Right Wing Rage Machine will claim he did regardless of reality is 100%, though.

We need for Americans to employ Americans and to get rich in America and to invest in America, and to give back by helping American charities.

A wealthy family in Anaheim just donated money to the Salvation Army to build a new Hope Center in Anaheim to help the homeless. That is great, and they are setting an example for other wealthy families. The wealthy families need to help the homeless, and the poor, and they can donate children's hospitals, etc.

Instead of a foreign company getting rich in America and sending the money to another country and doing their charity in another country, or guys like Gates sending jobs to other countries and sending charity money to other countries, we need for good Americans to create jobs in America and to give money to charities in America, and to help the homeless in America and to build hospitals in America, etc.

We have 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles alone, and we need for the rich and educated people in Los Angeles to step up and to help the homeless people in Los Angeles. ( And of course we also have the SBA to help, and HUD, and other organizations. )

The new Hope Center in Anaheim will help a lot of people, and the people who made it possible are setting a good example for other wealthy Americans.

Salute,

Tony V.
