I liked the Slate article on all the ways gaslighting is done.

And Ingrid Bergman should get an extra meme Oscar, in addition to the best actress one she got for her portrayal of gaslighting in Gaslight.. She helped create a new and powerful word.  Though maybe the word would have come along even if Hollywood hadn't remade the original British film with Diana Wynyard. 

I always liked the plot device of the gaslights dimming in the house when the villain husband is sneaking around up in the attic and turning on the gas up there.  Those lights aren't really dimming, you're just hallucinating you crazy broad!

SCOTUS in 2019 ruled gerrymanders aren't for federal courts to resolve, which created a nifty Catch-22 for Dems trying to get fair districting.  You have to seek legislative relief but the gerrymanders mean you can't ever win seats and get legislative relief.
