Thumbs up to that.  However IIRC Senate needs a 2/3 majority to convict.  So at this point we can only dream.
Maybe the democrats can concentrate on real problems not made up ones like tilting at the Abortion windmills.
LOL. A man telling women reproductive freedom is not a "real problem". I hope you people keep it up. If there is anything that can save Dems in this election cycle, that would be it.
The abortion decisions are made by women, not SCOTUS Justices.

You continue to be an ignorant male speaking from a position of privilege.

I wish there were a way for you to experience what it feels like to be pregnant and desperate, while living in a state that has chosen to make it impossible for you to get a legal abortion.

Maybe then you would get just how fatuous your "not SCOTUS Justices" position is.

930,000 abortions a year according to Guttmacher.
68% in states who will permit them and/or expand them without Roe.
Also according to Guttmacher 54% of abortions are medication abortions( a pill).
Even in states which may outlaw abortion they still could be allowed in the first trimester which accounts for 92 per cent of all current abortions. ( Guttmacher again)
And many states will allow abortions under exceptions such as rape, incest, health of the mother.
Then add in the growing list of employers who promise to provide financial help to travel to legal abortion states.

Handing these difficult matters over to the people, science, and state legislatures makes much more sense than judges.  Just imagine where we would be had this happened 50 years ago.

Breaking the thieving republicans and their murderous death cult is a real problem to concentrate on.

If a republican has something, he stole it.

If a republican says something, he is lying.

If a republican loves something, he will torture and pervert it until it dies.

He could have inherited it.

If a republican inherits something, he will use it for lies, theft, torture, and perversion.

Christians do not need to worry on the issue of abortion, I want to marry a good Christian woman who wants to have a family.

Some people are so busy having sex that they never find love. For me, I am waiting to have sex until I am in love with the woman. Plus, I want to watch the woman for a while and get to know her and see what kind of person she is, and I want to fall in love.

Also, sometimes people end up with crazy people because they did not wait to see what kind of person they jumped into bed with. The women end up with bad men who abuse them, and some men take ownership of the woman and they control their whole lives. I had a friend, she hooked up with a guy who beat her up, he made her give up all of her friends, and he completely controlled her life, and he was on cocaine, and he got more and more paranoid, and finally he thought she was having an affair with their neighbor who was a cop, and the crazy guy attacked the cop, so then the police came and the crazy guy pulled a gun on the police and the police killed him.

Women need to slow down and they need to see what kind of person they are getting involved with before they jump in bed with someone.

I plan to marry a good Christian woman who would not have an abortion. I will probably marry a Catholic woman. I love the Catholics.

Salute,

Tony V.

It.was not in the hands of judges. It was in the hands of every individual regardless of where they lived. Now it is in the hands of predominantly male state legislators.

I guess you just blot out where we were 50 years ago and back to our founding.  Abortions were in the hands of the people of the states. The founders  provided for that if the Constitution is silent on an issue in federal terms.
And playing the sex card is kind of silly since women have had a vote for over 100 years.

All the women I know that have had abortions are Christian and most are Catholic. Many of the distraught, enraged women I know now devoting significant cash and time to driving republicans back to the fetid hell the crawled out of are also Christian. Christians do seem to worry on the issue of abortion and it is making many of them work harder than they ever had in politics to put the republican party, as anti-Christian an organization as has ever existed, firmly in its grave where it belongs.

Trump is not a Republican, and saying to "Grab them by the pussy" is not a thing that a Christian would say.

Trump is not a Republican, and Trump is not a Christian.

Lincoln was a Christian and he was a Republican, and he freed the slaves. Lincoln knew that the rights of the workers were more important than those who were just putting up capital. Lincoln supported the workers, and Lincoln supported human rights, and Lincoln represented what the Republican Party stands for.

Reagan made the immigrants legal so that they could call the police in the case of an emergency and so that they could join labor unions. And when Reagan was head of SAG he got the workers Health Care and Retirement benefits. Reagan also improved the entire world economy. My home town was building the Space Shuttles and was building defense items and my home town was wealthy when Reagan was President. Reagan was a Republican, and Reagan would have hated Trump. Reagan loved the Mexicans, and Reagan hated walls.

Jeb Bush met his wife while helping to build an orphanage in Mexico, Jeb Bush is a real Christian, and Jeb Bush is a real Republican. George Bush is also a Christian and a Republican. The Bush family does not like Trump.

Trump is not a Christian, and Trump is not a Republican.

Salute,

Tony V.

It was out of the hands of judges until this court.

Where we would have been was thousands of illegal abortions, just as we were before Roe.

And your "some" and "may" drive home my points.

There will be women and girls who need an abortion and \cannot get one legally anymore.

NOT ONE FUCKING THING you said casts doubt on that.

The folks who will be least impacted by this decision are the wealthy.

Nothing new there. You are anti-women and anti-poor.

Yes, having finally recognized the right of women to make their own decisions about their own reproductive systems, the Court has now returned those decisions to the men who run the place. Take that, women! Men know what is best for you! For the likes of Red it is not even "a real problem".

I look forward to the explanation of how Biden is responsible for the 80% inflation rate in Turkey, on top of all his other misdeeds.

We're still waiting for news about the under-oath testimony from those Secret Service agents.

It's about a week.

The closest to news we have gotten on that is Rep. Cheney's telling us there is stuff she cannot tell us plus this wonderful piece from the Washington Examiner in which "Legitimate Secret Service interests explain why Ornato and Engel may not want to testify."
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/legitimate-secret-service-interests-explain-why-ornato-and-engel-may-not-want-to-testify

So impressed.

Like I said at the beginning, if they testify under oath, who knows what questions might come up?!

That is just a dishonest and degrading argument concerning women who outnumber male voters in elections and have for decades. https://cawp.rutgers.edu/facts/voters/gender-differences-voter-turnout#NPGX
Male politicians cannot get elected without the support of women.
Women also make up about 3 of every 10 representatives in state governments and are approaching equality in ten of the states.
