No. They get a left handed power hitter in the second most friendly to lefties stadium in the Bigs, they keep the luxury tax down, and they still have the flexibility to add Trout in two years, or whatever pitching they need as the season(s) unfold.
I think it's a good deal for all sides. Including Boras.
