Did Judge say he has no knowledge or no recollection?
Subtle difference.

What does it say that Dr. Blasey was willing to face several hours of Senate testimony, while Judge has said explicitly "I don't want to talk about this in public?" while hiding at his beach house?

Nothing good for Kavanaugh.  That should be clear.

The GOP seems hung up on this notion that,  because Judge made a statement, that's an "investigation."  I guess the Trump zombie brigade laps this shit up.

Flake had spine-ectomy in the night.   No surprise but still disappointing.
Nope, not possible. To paraphrase Jane Curtin, the late Senator Flake was born without a spine.

He has never been more than a highly partisan conservative hack politician who dislikes Donald Trump while supporting all his policies.
Flake is a conservative. Which is why you prefer to call him a hack.
Kavanaugh is at the top of nearly all the conservatives ’ lists  for SCOTUS.
Flake would be spineless if he used his distaste for Trump to deny Kavanaugh  a seat on the Court.
Kavanaugh, if confirmed, will be there long after Trump is gone.

Kavanaugh no longer has the ABA endorsement, pending an FBI investigation into the allegations.

The spineless ones are the ones giving in to the pressure to vote for Kavanaugh before he has been properly vetted ie. we can confirm that it is (at the very least) unlikely that he has committed sexual assault and lied about it.

In fact, Kavanaugh doesn't even have the endorsement of his alma matter:

https://twitter.com/YaleLawSch/status/1045698389961318400

If Kavanaugh is still "at the top of nearly all the conservatives ’ lists  for SCOTUS" that does not speak well of Conservatives.

I looked up Devil's Triangle in multiple reference sources, and they all describe it as a sex threesome with 2 guys and a woman.  None of them said it was a drinking game similar to Quarters.  (though some congressional IP number was recorded trying to amend Wikipedia to that effect last night)  Kavanaugh seems to think none of us know anything about Catholic prep schools.

Calzones are excellent pre-drinking food.  I always heard anything with a high fat content - had a friend who would make five slices of toast with about half a stick of butter spread on them.

Of course Devil's Triangle means a threesome, with 2 guys, one girl.  That's what it meant when I was in high school FFS.  If it's really a drinking game like Quarters, then I'm the Czar of all Neptune.  Kavanaugh has to revise its meaning, given that the alleged sexual assault scenario corresponds to Devil's Triangle.  Ford was in a room with 2 guys.

No, I call him a hack because he is a hack. I take this as a roundabout confession that "partisan cocksucker" is your way of describing a liberal.

Actually, I agree with that. But distaste for Trump and giving a lifetime appointment to,someone subject to credible allegations of.sexual misconduct are not the same thing.

Still not an investigation.  Investigators get a guy in a room.  Sweat him a little.  Talk to his friends and acquaintances in that period of his life.  Talks to "PJ" and "Squi" and see if their accounts are consistent.

Good God man, get a grip.

If you are on the wrong end of things, accept and move on.

I don't see any reason to think that led to a change.

And while you or I or anyone else with some concern for our having actually functioning courts might find the display he put on yesterday when he hurled partisan evidence-free conspiracy theories at Senators during a Senate Hearing almost as disqualifying, I am very sure that in conservative circles that made him a hero.

“Sometimes I had too many beers,” he acknowledged. “I liked beer. I still like beer. But I never drank beer to the point of blacking out"

Didn't see the testimony, but interesting that in this quote he's talking strictly about BEER.  Doesn't say anything about Everclear or any other stronger spirits.

He also maintained in his testimony (more than once) that it was legal for him drink in high school. Not in MD, it wasn't. In DC, yes, but not in MD. so, he lied. About drinking.

No

Once again, no.

He's not up for reelection. He may want to run against Trump in 2020. Or he drew the Short straw.

Or abuse the authority to deny a hearing to a SCOTUS nominee and then do the conservative fall back... blame Joe Biden.
